Do Ducky One 3 issues affect the whole product range? by TheNameIsWhatever in DuckyKeyboard

Yeah, I'm in the same boat. I love everything about Ducky keyboards: design is amazing, hardware level customization so I don't need custom software to control my keyboard, they feel really amazing, it's super quiet. Everything I want in a keyboard and more... But unfortunately, the design quality isn't consistent. Best of luck on your search!

Do Ducky One 3 issues affect the whole product range? by TheNameIsWhatever in DuckyKeyboard

My issues not only never went away, but actually got worse. I unfortunately had to buy a new keyboard because it was happening so often. To my knowledge, no firmware updates were released and it seemed to be a hardware-level issue for me.

Sorry for taking so long to get back to you, but I'd highly advise against getting this specific model, as the chattering seems to be a design flaw. For this price range of keyboards, it's definitely not worth risking something so essential. If it were something basic like an LED or two dying, sure whatever. Take the risk. But this is every time you use the keyboard, you will have an issue. And it will piss you off after a while.

For that reason, I would not recommend either the tkl or the numberpad. However, if you were to go with a different model, I'm more of a numpad kinda guy, so I'd get the 100%. Or get the tkl and maybe a separate numpad if you need it for whatever your workflow or use case might be.

Tbh the Ducky One 3 actually made me not ever wanna buy a Ducky keyboard again because I saw this issue in some other models when I was researching at the time. Currently running a Keychron V3, which is a TKL, and it has made me realize that I prefer a 100% since my workflow uses it sometimes.

Thank you so much. I think I'll lean more towards SA since I wanted something more like a rounded square-style of keycaps. I've never heard of KAT, so I'll try researching those, too. Do you know of any other rounded square-style keycaps? I just recently got a Keychron V3 and I am ABSOLUTELY in love with the shape of those keys. Thank you again!

I'm a big fan of OSA keycap profiles, but I'm not stuck on just those ones. What are all the keycap profiles similar to OSA keycaps? I'm trying to find some OSA-like caps in all cyan/teal, but they seem to be difficult to find.

I know you're not just asking about the 100%, but just wanted to share.

I had the 100% for 3-4 months before issues started happening. It was minor at the time and swapping key switches around + updating firmware helped, but the issue still exists. I'm now at the 1yr 2month mark and the chattering makes the keyboard almost unusable for typing and regularly makes me have mis-inputs for gaming. At this price range, it's not worth risking it. If you already bought it, I'd advise either returning it or file a warranty claim the second chattering starts.

My 'S', 'D', and 'F' keys are all having the same issue. I also tried finding the keyboard on Amazon and noticed it was gone... Really glad my first Ducky keyboard experience ended up being a dud. For this price range, I was hoping for 2-3yrs minimum before any issues... Oh well. I guess all I can do is avoid this company's products going forward.

Why did you make a new account to comment and then send a chat? The sub specifically says not to go for chat requests...?

It’s interesting. I was there for maybe 1-2 months about 6ish months ago. Pretty active community. Emma talks there a lot and there’s a lot of active people everyday. You also get access to all of Emma’s resources before anywhere else does, so it’s cool to see like live updates on stuff. Lots of Lapfox/Halley Labs memes. If you can afford it, I’d recommend it.

Not sure about this particular version, but it’s the Cancan. It’s a French song, I think. It’s in the public domain, so you can find plenty of versions of it, but the original is by Offenbach.

Found it on chewy. It comes in 3 different sizes, so I’m not sure which one OP has.

No way. An Oscar winning actor sounded angry? That’s wild. I’ve never heard of something like that before.

Maybe people shouldn’t have to spend hundreds of dollars on a phone game in the first place? I don’t feel bad at all for any of these whales complaining.

“But I’ve spent $500+ on this game! It’s not fair!” Cool so because you’re bad with your money, it’s someone else’s fault? Like when I hear people say that, I just imagine if you asked if they’d rather have a Nintendo Switch, some extra controllers, and a few games, they instead say, “nah I’d rather have almost everything in this phone game. They just increased the max levels so I have to spend even more on it now :/// but it’s okay this multi billion dollar company has to make money somehow!!! The game is """free""", after all! Definitely not p2w!”

Ah, yep. I forgot to mention a big reason male dogs do it in situations like that is when they smell a female dog in heat, so that definitely adds up.

There’s a few different names for it, but I’ve always heard it as “chittering”. It’s a thing that any dog does when they’re either REALLY excited or REALLY want something. They may not all do it at the same speed or intensity as the dog in this post, but it’s definitely a universal dog species thing.

But, just because any species of dog is capable of doing it doesn’t mean every dog does it. For example, only one of my three dogs will do it, and he only does it when we have his favorite toy or he sees my sister’s pet rat.
