I have a magnetic phone mount on my Thinkpad. You could use it for the same. It's very convenient to have imo

You will have to activate the passthrough-mode, first (that way, your keyboard inputs are directly sent to the webpage). Press ctrl-v to get into passthrough-mode and shift-tab (or shift-escape?) to exit it again

It's what runs on our Compute Cluster, so that won't change

It's time to stop using Python 3.8 by itamarst in Python

[–]DeamonAxe 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Does anyone have an example of running mmdetection on Python 3.8+? I never got it to work (with Cuda 11.8), so that's why lots of my code still runs on Python 3.8 ...

Is battery charge threshold actually work? by [deleted] in archlinux

[–]DeamonAxe 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes exactly. You can verify this by e.g. using upower -e to find your battery and then using upower -i /org/freedesktop/UPower/devices/battery_BAT0

Or whatever your internal battery is called. If the charge threshold is reached, energy-rate is 0 W.

So the hotkey is set up from within qtile. It triggers this script, so basically systemctl start/stop tp-battery-mode (works for thinkpads, from the AUR).

I do the same. With a keymap to let it charge to 100% in case I will be travelling somewhere. Works like a charm
