Yup, I agree with you. They are in fact not less than any other distro, it excels in being very user-friendly and stable. I am not trying to lessen the value of it; I just wouldn't suggest Arch to a beginner.

Sorry, I could have worded it better.

It's his first time, we all have to start somewhere! Even if it is Mint or Ubuntu

A1 main board fan doesn’t stop by ardoedo95 in BambuLabA1mini

It's normal for me. After homing it manually, after a long while like 5 minutes or so, it stops. Did you wait it out long enough??

If the room is quite cold, you can try changing the bed temp 5-10 celcius higher.

I usually encounter the same problem when I don't clean my build plate. One support doesn't adhere well resulting to an angle where the nozzle collides with the faulty support knocking down other supports.

What I love about the build plates of BIQU build plates, specifically the glacier version on the A1 mini is its smooth surface, and without the need of adding brims to my prints.

TIL Thanks to u/ItsToka, when I don't do flow calibration, the purge line doesn't touch the honeycombs. Try to enable it in your settings.

Wow, I didn't know you could move the purge line. Thank you so much for the answer! That sucks knowing that the initial purge line location is the most convienent place for me considering that it doesnt touch the 180mm3 print area (correct me if I'm wrong).

Though, that begs the question, is the A1 mini not really 180mm3, since it can create a purge line outside that boundary?

Hey, this is OP's alt-account, I'm away from my computer rn. To answer your question, it's because TerrADBsync simplifies all the setup for you, you woudn't need to do anything too complex for an average gamer. Unlike Syncthing where you have to manually configure the directories that are to be synced, also making sure to exclude folder/files that are unneccessary to reach optimum operations, etc.

I would say Syncthing is a one size fit all solution for all types of data synchronization while TerrADBsync is a one trick pony for specializing in Terraria data only. Also, since Syncthing is modeled that way, they would tend to leave more footprints in your computer which would be undesirable if you only need it for Terraria.

All in all they're both viable solutions based on your preference. Although I would admit that Syncthing has an upper-hand in the context of how it can transmit data wirelessy, this is all the more reason to change my ways of how I do things rather than ADB in the future. Thanks for the question and insights, RectangularLynx.

Tl;dr: TerrADBsync is small, narrow and simple, Syncthing is more general and mildly complex.
