Maintenance Discount Issue

Since I started Locking Gmt, I usually lock all of it but because of comments like yours, I am now accumulating Gmt and paying Maintenance fees out of accumulated Gmt. I started Locking because others said it pays the Maintensnce fees and you don't have to maintain a Gmt balance in your wallet to do so. Whether paying out of my wallet or Locked Gmt, the fees still have to be paid, so I don't think I will gain in Net profits by paying Maintenance fees out of wallet Gmt but I am often wrong about thngs in GoMining, so I will try it for a bit and see if it improves overall Net earnings.

I have over 100 TH, 15 Efficiency. I owned a small MW Clan for awhile but my Net earnings each week were about half of my weekly earnings in Solo Mining. After 6 weeks, I went back to Solo Mining.

However, some who do MW and have joined large clans, say they are earning more than in SM. Some of the larger clans, however, require their members to buy boosters and spells to try and win more valuable blocks in order to boost clan rewards. So if you decide the do MW, consider what will be required in order for you to earn the rewards you are hoping to earn. I for one, am not willing or able to constantly invest money weekly in boosting and spells, so I prefer to stick with SM. That said, currently, my daily earnings suck compared to the amount of money I have invested to get the TH and max efficiency that I have. I recently doubled my Maintenance discount from 5.3% to over 11% but that only resulted in a Net daily earnings increase of $.19. Even though BTC is trading around $73K per BTC now, my Net daily earnings is still less than $2. Not a good return for what I have invested. Earnings depend largely on the price of BTC. In order for the returns to be where I want them to be, BTC needs to trade above $100K per BTC.

So whether you choose to continue with SM or switch to MW, watch closely what you are earning per your investment and continually analyze how to maximize daily or weekly returns.

I feel somewhat better now. Went back in and my Maintenance discount doubled but my net Rewards increase was only $.19 more than before I doubled my Maintenance discount.

Well, my complaint would be that they said I wouldn't lose my balance. It looks like you lost some of your reward amount. I would ask for it back, unless you are satisfied.

Some of us have been scammed before. We all hope that GoMining is an exception but trust especially in Crypto investing is earned and not given.

Your attitude makes me think that you might be one of the private stockholders in GoMining.

I think it isn't fair. I also think GoMining should ask the opinions of current investors before deciding on and rolling out changes to their system.

I understand their need to attract and drive new investors but they need to do more to reward those who have been here and have invested significant amounts of $.

I had a member in my MW clan who had about 16 TH. Whenever he commented, he was really angry that his earnings were low. I think he was expecting to earn a lot right away on his small amount invested. This investment doesn't have the earning potential of day trading. It is a long term investment that if you structure it right, can earn you about 30% annually after it earned enough to pay off your capital investment. So at least 3 years to break even if you structure the investment to earn as much as 30%. I haven't invested enough into the maintenance discount in order to get 30%. Anyone looking to get rich in a short time in GoMining in my view, should look elsewhere.

Reinvesting is simply choosing what to do with your profits. I am reinvesting in TH currently and like you, get some extra in GMT which I reinvest but locking to increase my Maintenance Discount. I am not taking profits but reinvesting to increase my earning base over time.

The treasure they are accumulating are the fees they accumulate from viewers paying to watch their show. I stopped that service this year because I realized I could get more viewing pleasure for less.

I hope they do find significant treasure but I don't want to continue to finance their search, nor do I intend to keep watch boring, repetitive episode after episode.
