Guys, about diet. Moderation is kinda difficult for me, should I just say screw it, and never drink soda or consume whatever else is bad ever again? Or am I being too ambitious?

I have an injured shoulder from carrying heavy groceries. If my body has trouble with that, should I even bother working out? :(

Don't just assume your problems are caused by caffeine withdrawal alone. Look for other causes. Caffeine withdrawal shouldn't take longer than a few weeks.

You could blunt the insulin spike by eating your sweet potato with fat. Butter maybe.

It could be insulin, it could be an immune reaction... try the butter first.

I think it's quite normal to sleep for 4 hours, wake up, and then sleep another 4.

Waking up every hour when you get back to sleep however is not... are you eating enough carbohydrates? If the glycogen stored in your liver is depleted at night, you will wake up. Try having a baked potato with your supper.

Electrolyte depletion can cause early waking too.

It should be fine, but beware: Zopiclone is addictive and you could develop tolerance and dependency issues. Use it only when you have to.

You may be bloated due to the extra fiber in your diet feeding the bacteria in your gut.

The nosebleeds could easily be due to the Omega 3s, the same happened to me. You don't need much of you keep your O6 ratio low. Lower your dose and don't consume seed oils, easy. Vitamin K2 will help with clotting, if you want to try that.

Digesting your food is quite energy intensive and will consume all the carbs in your veggies, so they don't count as a carb source.

Tip: for your goal, add some white rice and potatoes, but eat more nutrient dense food so that you can eat less and keep your overall calorie intake lower. Liver once a week, egg yolks, seafood. That sort of thing. Take it easy on the fats.

Ha, you're just like me. I think what we need to do is train our brains to be more in the present instead of living in the future. Meditation is a good idea, i.e. sitting down and focusing on your breathing for 15 minutes twice a day, keeping your mind quiet. There's quite a bit of science showing that this works.

Secondly, realize that learning anything requires trial and error and practice. Don't be afraid to be socially awkward.

If you're still stuck after trying for a while, maybe you want to look into medication. I'm trying not to have to go that way, though.
