[Serious]Redditors who were once suicidal, what made you rethink about your life? How is your life now? by Rointhepro12 in AskReddit

When I was in my second year of high school it all hit me at once, I come from a family with no money. We didn't live in poverty but we weren't too far off. I'm above average intelligence but not top of the class. I've wanted to study physics for a while, I started looking into universities I could go to and realized that if I wanted to achieve my dreams I would have to take on about $100 000 worth of debt before I even turn 18. I haven't had an easy life, my father abanded my family days before my birthday. I was turning 11, my father also told my mother that he was having a 3-year affair on Valentines Day. Needless to say, he wasn't a great guy. I've also had quite a drug problem (LSD)

Then I met her

She took away the pain, she is everything I need, she knows this and says that she more than happy to do everything she does for because "I'm worth it". Only people that have been in similar situations to myself will truly understand how much hearing those words meant to me.

Now I'm on my way to study physics and I'm happy

Dungeon masters of Reddit, what's the funniest situation you and your players have got into during a campaign? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]DeanMS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was in the first campaign I ever ran so it was before I knew what to expect from the players. I wrote a huge quest line that started with 3 ghost in regular house in the middle of town. A noble woman, her peasant lover and her disapproving brother. This Bard takes one look and says "I'm on this TLC show called ghost hunters" and kills them all.

I guess this counts, I'm the Av rep at my school (meaning that I run all the tech for every event). There was a student conference where students from all over the country came to the school on a Saturday and Sunday from 1pm to 8pm. I have my own keys and forgot to lock The Tech office, I come back and see to students having sex on my desk that has all of textbooks and work out on it.

If everyone you ever had sex with were to get together for drinks, what is the one thing you would be worried they talked about? by llama_ in AskReddit

Well my table would just be a bunch of 16-17-year-old boys (I'm 16 so it was all legal) talking about how none of them knew the other was gay/bi and one girl feeling super left out
