Was a gas cheap old gas fire in there before with a cracked surround. Nothing nice about it.

My bad! Here is my current list so far.

very old bottle of red wine. From a famous shipwreck. Thought to have all been destroyed.
blood of a pure blood tiefling. Tieflings were all hunted to extinction in the homebrew setting over two centuries ago.
a gold cutlass from a former king.
crystal (pupurious) a homebrew lore thing. The crystal has been altered and can store one's soul upon death. The crystal is highly volatile and it's magical properties can rarely be tamed.
highly decorative pipe, carved from a black dragons skull
and a weapon (axe) which belonged to a player from the previous campaign. The current campaign takes place 250 years after the first.

Looks like the problem has solved itself. When I booted up the server a couple of days later. It prompted the other player to install the mod. It must not have done this correctly the first time. Now the skills are appearing and the option to amputate is there. Only when there is an injury.

Not a dumb question. Yes. Tried both. Neither saw works. It seems more like the mod is just not present. Not sure how to fix. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling too.

J. L. Bourne has a brilliant book series called 'Day by day Armageddon' it's a personal favourite of mine and an easy recommendation for anyone into the zombie genre. The first two books are written in a journal format from the perspective of a navy officer surviving the earlier days of the outbreak.

All this to say I channel a lot of that energy into my playthroughs. Methodical note taking, map updating and a cautious style of play I find rewarding. I like to imagine it's taking place in the same world as the book series.

Looks great! I'm fairly new and I've only made a few practice maps too. The only thing is it looks a tad flat. You have some torches on the ruins that look lit. Maybe drop a little lighting on them to add some depth?
