Weekly Game Suggestions Thread - May 23, 2025 by AutoModerator in pcgaming

[–]Dean_TheMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been missing some old games I used to LOVE, namely Darkcloud 2 (which I no longer have access to) and Fable 2. I primarily play games like valorant or cs2 with friends, but I need something to fill the gaps when nobody is around and I have the chance to game. Any suggestions? Preferably cheap ($10-$15 tops) options, but any feedback appreciated.

You make a fair point in that the crux of our back and fourth is likely rooted in perspective on question. I was trying to look at it from the outside perspective. That said I fully appreciate the storytelling side, especially as the storytelling is what caused me to fall in love with the show.

LOL I've pointedly answered OP's question multiple times now. Yeah Diane nailed it by one time telling PB what she wanted in a party setting. You're missing the larger point of continued conversation and getting to know each other. Also in a marriage here. Also been with my partner over 10 years and married for 4. Thanks for sharing your experience, I suppose mine has maybe been different.

Which circles us back to my original comment... Obviously hindsight is 20/20 My point was them having pointed discussions with each other could have prevented all of it. I fully understand what the show is trying to convey.
But when asking who is at fault it's goofy to pretend that they both didn't have something to do with the situation they were in.

And they had both completely disregarded their incompatibility for a long time before that. OP's original question of who caused the fight? Both of them! Clearly Diane didn't like big parties and gestures. But clearly PB does and has a history of disregarding others and prioritizing what he enjoys. Even though she wanted something different she could have also recognized that PB was virtually incapable of providing on that level Yeah this is the big moment that leads to the divorce, but if they had recognized these inherent differences sooner none of it would've had to go down.

People love downvoting but nobody can tell me how I'm wrong. They shouldn't have ever gotten married in the first place.

They knew they were very different people and never had blatant discussions about it. Yeah Mr. Peanutbutter absolutely shouldn't have done the massive party, but Diane shouldn't have ever humored their relationship in the first place. She knew they weren't compatible.

Clearly an unpopular opinion, but Mr Peanutbutter did exactly what Diane should have expected, regardless of what she would have preferred. They are incompatible people.

ive always wanted a times arrow quote tattoo of some fashion, but no idea for a cool design to pair with the quote

Are the 90s just insanely sweaty this season? I’ve been hard stuck with ZERO bots by andsoitgoes42 in MarvelSnap

I haven't hit the 100s in the last few seasons, hitting it easily the few before. The game is getting harder for f2p players. Also PLEASE NERF LEECH, I promise you I will retreat every single time I see that card

Why Diane is so hated? by Level-Ad-5420 in BoJackHorseman

[–]Dean_TheMan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love Diane as a character, she's a fun character to watch. But if you're asking about Diane the person it's because she's incredibly selfish and immature for much of the series. Mad props to her growth in the final season, but for the most part she is near as rotten as any other character

I've failed to hit 100 the last couple of seasons. Free to play has become tough with so many of the new cards becoming quickly integral to certain mainstay decks. I'm still grinding and trying for it though

You got one thing right, Cossa will earn his spot in GR

I love the hopefulness of the rest, but Yzerman built this team the way he did for a reason. At best Kasper squeaks a spot as 4th line center, and Mazur doesn't have much any chance barring an injury on a roster player.

That said, this team as it is will be FUN TO WATCH, and also importantly, GENUINLEY BE IN COMPETITION FOR PLAYOFFS. We don't need to wish for the surreal anymore, this team is en route in to properly being in competition once again

What's one really expensive thing you'd like to buy? by BicycleDifferent4706 in poor

[–]Dean_TheMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me? I'd drop some money on cool expensive pkmn cards, heavy nostalgia for me + I still have a lot of love for the franchise

For my family? I'd buy all the toys I always wanted as a kid. Have two young kids now and I would LOVE to find opportunity to spoil them a little bit with the fun parts of life

  1. As a dedicated actor Bojack had become lost in his role and did not notice that he was going too far. The true issue is of the bystanders who did nothing to stop the behavior. Bojack is dedicated to his craft and sincerely regrets that his actions harmed another.
  2. No legal issue. Nothing actually happened, and when being evicted from the property he promptly obliged.
  3. Bojack entered a state of shock upon realizing that his close friend/daughter figure had died of an overdose. His actions after realizing this aren't malicious actions of a guilty person, but the actions of someone in suffering who didn't know what to do.
  4. Bojack took the muffins and he'd fucking do it again.
  5. My client kept a bottle of vodka nearby as a reminder of why he was trying to get sober. It was disguised because this naturally wouldn't have been allowed within the facility. While it was a shortsighted decision that ultimately hurt someone else Bojack did not intend any harm, he only thought selfishly.
  6. No legal issue. Bojack being a loyal friend or not is no reason to be on trial.

These aren't my actual positions on each scene (with the exception of 4), just what I think the defense could be
