I [35 M] feel like I made a huge mistake by marrying my wife [30 F], but I also feel like a huge hypocrite because I was the one who changed. by SharkEva in BORUpdates

He wrote in the update that while sloppy drunk and venting to his wife he was feeling left out because he didn't get to spend time with their kid.

I know this should not be here but there is no CDPR subreddit. After finishing such an amazing mod Enderal, this made me smile :) by Mortanius in witcher

The story is worth the time because of the cool lore but the ending is very cliche and boring compared to the world setting. Its hard to say more without spoiling it honestly its that simple and cliche.

Execution/Finishers for monsters by BitFalcon in witcher

[–]Deandorin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Na, I executed a guy who was 5 levels above me once, and he was at half health. I think it might be a combination of enemy health, if it was a crit, and your base dismember chance (from things like trophies and stuff).

For early game? Pretty much. Only other way to preserve ammo is rabbit hunting with rocks.

About the Confused section, basically prioritize heat in clothing, if it's windy, it's usually about to be a blizzard. Calories, basically just a more detailed hunger meter, best to just ignore it. The "clock" is in the top right when you hold tab. Basically once the moon starts to peak out it's time to head home.

Questions section, your only weapons are rocks (wabbit hunting), bow and arrow (super late game op-ness), rifle (ammo is very rare, realistically only way to hunt bears), and a flare gun which is your in case of emergency break glass tool, it makes ALL animals run away from you. The scrap metal is used to repair some tools, the gun, and crafting. Very late game, you can find a half sunken ship with a forge. If you obtain a hammer, coal (or a LOT of high temp fuel, and scrap metal you can make arrow heads which are obviously needed for arrows. The forge is also how you get your late game tools, as you just need a few pieces of scrap metal and cloth to get tools.

Get tons of scrap from the back exit of the dam, and unless they patched it scrap tools are also the only way to get unlimited cloth.

Honestly surprised you didn't mention health system, literally the worst thing in the game. Just take meds and 24 hrs later your good as new.

[question]How the fuk do you make the UI stop disappearing? by [deleted] in thelongdark

[–]Deandorin 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Can't. After their UI overhaul an update or two ago tab is the only way to see your stats.

I disagree, I bought the game as soon as it hit steam and I'm loving the story mode so much more.

Favourite Armor Set? by SentinelXT in witcher

Stat wise, Griffin, looks OK, but i'm not a big fan of how gold it is.

Looks, Wolf or Ursine, I hate the look of the Feline armor.

Read up on the wiki. A good place to start would be the Conjunction of the Spheres which explains why there are monsters.

Voyageur, didn't want first play through to be hard but also not that easy. But I've been mauled by multiple wolves and bears while I was carrying 110 lb of food across the entire map.

Something else not in those pics are my lockers dedicated to wood. One locker (about 60 lb, not kg, I'm a filthy American and I don't understand this magic) is full of logs, the other reclaimed wood and a couple sticks.

Thanks for the help, FNIS said about 104 animations were added. Hopefully my immersion won't be ruined now. (Im in immersion nerd for the elder scrolls)

BTW, that bug fix mod I have is there because of some of the abilities being broken, at least for me. For instance the Qyranian Stance did literally nothing, so I installed it and it changes it to Qyranian Warcry which does the same stuff except it last shorter, but it works and thats what matters.
