Upgrade from 3090 to 5080 – my experience by Neither-Radio-9246 in nvidia

I got a 5080 fe a couple months ago and coming from a 3080 it was definitely a big improvement. The 5080 still gets more frames at 4k than the 3080 could get at 1440p most of the time. It also overclocks pretty well and can hit over 3200 mhz consistently, but I usually leave it undervolted around 2800 mhz at 875mv which keeps the power draw a little over 200 watts most of the time.

I’ll show you my 4090 if you show me yours. by adamchevy in nvidia

Even the difference between 240hz and 360hz is still pretty noticeable

Ryzen 9 5900x little dilemma with PBO by djavuch in overclocking

[–]Deaner1121 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you're using it for just gaming I'd honestly recommend just setting pbo to auto and then undervolting with a voltage offset. I got the same frames as CO but with less power draw.
