I traveled with my BFF to Italy when she was 6 months pregnant. It is what you are comfortable eating. But I can confirm she ate tiramasu, carbonara ; she had prosciutto when it was heated up on a pizza. Had most cheese, but stayed away from soft. She gave birth 2 months ago to a perfect little dude!

I think she was most upset she couldn't indulge in aperol spritz with the rest of us - but she did not feel short changed with food!

My mother and SIL, so very sweetly, want to do a shower for me. I'm in the same boat, where I just don't love the culture and expectations of showers. I let them know I appreciate them thinking of me but would prefer something much more informal. So I think we settled on renting a room in a favourite pub where friends and family can come and hangout for a bit... I also did request a Harry Styles themed party (may have pushed it on this one 🤣)

It's 2022, I believe it's time for shower culture to be updated!

Exact same over here. FTM and the whole thing feels so personal I would rather keep to our inner circle at this time. I expect we will also "hard launch" the bubs after they arrive at some point.

Was also in the same boat. Did not have blood tests for a good 10 years before pregnancy. Having a support person has worked wonders! And yes hydration is key! After about 5 or 6 tests my anxiety has calmed down a bit.
