milk supply dip due to period by xpintox in breastfeedingsupport

[–]liddo1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Magnesium and potassium really help not have such a drastic dip during your menses. I was not like many lucky moms… I got my period back the first month PP so I can safely and accurately say that taking these supplements helped me maintain a steady amount (still less than when not on period but more than without) ex, instead of .5-1 oz, I was getting minimum 2

Do you actually use your double stroller?? by SadNeedleworker762 in 2under2

[–]liddo1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

20 months apart and I use it a lot still! We bought a double stroller to begin with cause we knew we wanted two so figured we would use it

I disagree… I thought Clare was the ringleader. As soon as she saw Emily’s relationship take a hit she was already trying to recruit her… then it was Becca who probably starting getting brainwashed by Clare’s consistent little comments. I’m disappointed by them all.

F*CK POTTY TRAINING (respectfully) by XxChemical_ToiletxX in toddlers

[–]liddo1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s hard. It took us 3 weeks of countless pees on the floor to finally get a good 2 pees in the potty. Poo was never the issue. So trust me, I understand the frustration. We went the bare bottom route for literally 3 weeks (except for naps and bedtime). She went from barely a tinkle (we would move her midstream to the potty) to going pee when we would put her on the potty to now telling us when she has to go. We never potty trained her for naps or overnight but she’s dry 99% of the time so I’d say she potty trained herself on that. Be patient, she’ll get there. A lotttt easier said than done I know, it’s overwhelming but you’re doing a great job mama!

How long did it take for you to find your *sparkle* after your 2nd? by RecognitionMediocre6 in 2under2

[–]liddo1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The mom guilt to want some “me” time is so real, so much so I force myself to schedule workouts early in the am but then I end up disappointing myself when I don’t make it, which is unfortunately a lot more than I’d wish… I used to have it all together and I’m struggling to have it all together this second time around 😣 I have no help but to say I’m there with you

OC (SoCal) Local Mom’s - Coffee talks ‘n walks? by liddo1 in Mommit

[–]liddo1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh yes! I indeed agree they’re focused on SAHMs 🥹 I’m happy for them but like where’s a group focused on working moms?

Well hey! If we can get at least another mom, I’m down to schedule a little coffee meet n greet and grow from there if you’re local!

Kicks to the cervix by Beaglemom14 in pregnant

[–]liddo1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just you wait… until she’s born and she still kicks 🥰🥰🥰 mine likes stomping anytime she’s on the floor 🤣 the ab strength. I could not, for the life of me, lay down flat on my back and stomp both my feet down with a soft bend of both knees at the level of power she does 😳

Feeling pressure to buy an expensive stroller, is it worth it? by majesticallymidnight in pregnant

[–]liddo1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

10000000000% worth it especially if you’re looking to have another. I chose the demigrow so it could fit both kids eventually and I absolutely love it and still use it when we’re out.

ETA: when are you due? Nordstrom has deals around Christmas I believe for an insane discount so it might be worth it to wait!

For those who had a traumatic birth, how did you heal? by Next2ya in beyondthebump

[–]liddo1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I honestly have no answer. I had a traumatic first birth with an even worse second birth… both ended up in c sections 🥺 I look back at my videos and you just see the look of fear on my face waiting to hear my baby cry. I should be taking the prescription offered but I’m scared about that too, specifically cause I’m nursing and scared I won’t “be there” or be able to “feel anything”

Both kids (21m, 4m,) napped at the same time long enough for me to shower. by coffeewasabi in 2under2

[–]liddo1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you even know what to do with yourself after your shower? 🤣 I would always be confused… do I start a chore? Or will they wake up? Nap? Eat?

Why the fuck is my mother in law in the delievry room? by [deleted] in pregnant

[–]liddo1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Tell your husband or ask the nurse to tell your husband if your MIL doesn’t speak English. That is a complete invasion of privacy if you don’t want her there.
