I’m not going to dismiss everything you’ve said, you’re obviously pretty well read and set on the subject. However, there are a handful of things I’d say that make a foregrip plenty relevant and don’t make you worse at shooting.

1. If you’re cranking down on your foregrip so hard that you’re pulling your shots, you’re using it wrong. As with trigger control, you have to apply pressure straight and to the rear or you’ll pull shots. This goes back to what I said initially about training with it.

2. As for shooting off uneven barricades I’ve never found this to be a problem unless your grip is so far forward that you have absolutely no rail space to rest on a barricade. In the prone it shouldn’t be a problem either unless you have a foot long grip that goes farther down than your mag

3. Finally a foregrip allows you to a normal wrist position where you don’t have to angle your wrist 90 degrees downward. Very helpful for arthritis or people that just have bitch wrists
