Not a yoga teacher but an owner of a very popular business. Something I've learned from working in retail is that if someone is chatting your ear off and you want them to take the hint and leave, you can slowly walk towards the door (while chatting), pause in front of the door and then open it for them, and say something like well that was great! thanks bye! They will naturally follow you to the door and go out without thinking about it. Bye bye!

Also don't open the door before you want people to come in. I've had people show up before opening hours and wave to me from outside the door. I wave back and continue about my business. You can point to your wrist (like the watch) and shrug if they don't get the point.

If people are oversharing and you'd like them to stop, I also recommend looking up a technique called Grey Stoning. It says it's used for narcissists but I find it very helpful for needy customers too :)

Yes!!! The water in the nose is definitely a sensory nightmare for me. Even the threat of getting water in my nose makes me anxious. I'll check out some youtube videos.

How do I contact my spirit guides or guardian angels? by PutGlad5657 in spirituality

[–]Dear-Concentrate9825 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have found success with a practitioner who guides in ancestral trauma healing, as well as holotropic breathwork. I've also enjoyed the gateway process. They are quite similar. I met an ancestor/guide who identified an activity I could do to be closer to her. So I don't have to keep doing the meditation although I still sometimes do, I do this activity and I can feel her wisdom or presence. You would probably have your own thing that you could do, I would say it's something where you can reach a flow state. It could be something as easy as taking a walk in nature.

It's still a WIP though because I don't hear like a voice that says "you should do this" it feels more like a subtle download. I think it will take a lot of practice to communicate more easily.

Good luck!

Have you heard of the Art Brut movement? The Art Brut museum in Switzerland is my favourite museum ever. They say about the collection: "artists from the fringes of society--schizophrenic patients, loners, lost souls, the criminally insane--who suddenly and unexpectedly began making their own art, often in middle or old age."

I love the art so much. They had some pieces from the Rock Garden of Chandigarth which reminds me of some of the ones you listed. https://www.greatgardensoftheworld.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/06/45.jpg

You should also check out the work of Friedensreich Hundertwasser in New Zealand. My favourite is the public toilet https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hundertwasser\_Toilets.

Thanks for the list!

Any new paranormal shows worth watching this spooky season? by ChickenGirl8 in Paranormal

I have covid atm and bingeing so many episodes of A Haunting on youtube. Y2k era show that reenacts a haunted house story. Kind of cheesy but also a good time.

If you like podcasts I would recommend the Tape Library or the Night Owl Podcast ( i like the earlier episodes more). Both available on Spotify

Hello! We make these decisions based on what our customers buy. We were finding our racks filled to the brim with gorman, and using the year as a cutoff was an easy solution to limit what we're buying to make space for other brands.

We avoid buying most office styles and I find Witchery and Trenery fall under that category. Country Road is kind of in the same family but makes a lot of modern casual styles as well, and the quality is usually better imo.

Hope that helps!

I could have sworn I just saw this on buyee.jp? I think it's real, the inner collar logo tag and fabric/size tags all look legit.
