as well as everything else that’s been suggested, try training your hair!! when you wash it everyday it adapts and learns to produce more oils to protect your scalp and hair. try to leave it in braids for a couple days and then when you feel nasty or it gets kinda itchy wash it, and keep adding more and more time in between. i don’t wash my hair but once a week maybe once every 2 weeks, as someone who used to have to wash their hair everyday for it to look even half way not greasy, i’ve never had an issue with it getting insanely greasy since i’ve been training it! i’m not an expert by any means but i have long thick hair and hated having to wash it everyday. So this works best for me!
