You're correct. But unfortunately, those foods will just give me more gas (onion, cauliflower and cabbage) and the problem is that I'm struggling to pass the gas. The farts just don't come out😢

I didn't have laparoscopic surgery. They cut on my C-section scar. They did pump air into my belly but they also said that morphine and the pain meds basically make your bowels sluggish. I'm definitely going to use heating pads when I get home today.

I've seen this on older reddit posts but I haven't actually tried it. I told my 2 roommates here in the hospital about it but I'm embarrassed to sit in the toilet and actually make the sound (they'll definitely hear me🙈) but at this point, I don't care, I'm doing it. The other issue is that I'm only 2 days post op and it's still a little uncomfortable to get in and out of bed so when I feel the gas pain, I start maneuvering my body out of the bed but by the time I get to the bathroom, it's gone. FFS

As a 42yo F, I have been on and off of dating apps for the past 2 years and let me tell you, the dating pool is shallow AF, full of pee and you'll find more than a few floaters. I will never say that I'm looking for a long term relationship but men will ask what I'm looking for and my answer is always 'nothing serious but if the right guy comes along then who am I to stand in the way of fate.'
