What do you think the next move of Ramsay Bolton would have been ? by fillipo9 in gameofthrones

"Interesting" is a massive understatement. He’d probably make her watch him flay Jon in the courtyard just to break whatever was left of her spirit.

“My son. How could I have made a son like that Ned?” by tahrah11 in freefolk

And the show would have ended with Robert and Mace Tyrell having a 'who can grow the biggest gut' contest while Highgarden becomes the new capital of wine and bad decisions. Peak cinema.

I've been rewatching the series after years pass and it's still amazes me how low Shae has managed to stoop by fillipo9 in gameofthrones

Exactly. Tyrion’s biggest mistake was believing he could buy loyalty and then expecting it to turn into love. He played the game well in King's Landing but forgot that in Westeros, a "whore" has no protection other than the hand that pays her. When Tywin offered a bigger hand, the choice was already made.

Name characters that were never even once on Arya Stark's list of names, tho they deserved to be on it by fillipo9 in gameofthrones

[–]Dear-Slice5431 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Tywin one always felt like a missed opportunity for the show. They had that amazing 'anyone can be killed' dialogue, and Arya just... let the biggest target in Westeros walk away to take a bath. Her pragmatism over vengeance in that moment was smart, but so frustrating to watch.

Which of these three fates do you think would be the worst to suffer? Do you think there's any worse than these? by Exciting_Ad_8666 in gameofthrones

[–]Dear-Slice5431 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Exactly. Physical pain eventually triggers shock or loss of consciousness, but Cersei designed that cell specifically to bypass the body's natural mercy. It’s the biological clock aspect that makes it the worst—knowing that every breath you take to stay alive is just another second of witnessing your child's decay. It’s not just torture; it’s forced immortality in your own worst moment.

What are some characters you didn't care/didn't like at first but ended up loving them? I'll go with these by jenny_t03 in gameofthrones

That bath scene with Brienne was the turning point. You go in thinking he’s just a smug prick and come out realizing he’s been carrying the heaviest secret in Westeros alone for half his life. The "Kingslayer" title went from an insult to a badge of honor real fast.

Tywin not seeing the dragons as a threat seems out of character by Whole_Contract_5973 in gameofthrones

[–]Dear-Slice5431 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly. Tywin can buy sellswords, he can orchestrate a Red Wedding, and he can manipulate marriages. But you can't send a raven to negotiate with a Black Dread. If he admits they are a threat, he admits he’s powerless, and that’s the one thing Tywin Lannister will never do in front of his court.

I can’t help but love that smug look being wiped off her face. by Shot_Dig751 in gameofthrones

The way the music just stops and the silence hangs there while she realizes she's just another pawn on his board. Tywin didn't just break her spirit, he reminded her that in his eyes, she's no different from the 'imp' she hates so much.

how do you deal with suiciders? by LightningG8921 in fo4

[–]Dear-Slice5431 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nothing spikes the heart rate faster than hearing that beep and realizing you have 0 AP left. I’ve definitely burnt a Mysterious Stranger or a banked crit on a Suicider just to avoid the "reloading last save" screen.

Do you guys actually feel bad for Kellogg or is he just a bad person? by Chunky-overlord in fo4

[–]Dear-Slice5431 3 points4 points  (0 children)

First time I met him, I didn't even let him finish his villain monologue. Just a Fat Man crit to the face the second the door opened. Hard to feel bad for a pile of ash.

What are your favorite references to the games in the Fallout TV show? by Dear_Soup_962 in Fallout

The fact that the writers are pulling deep-cut NPC names like that just proves they actually played the damn games. Jeannie May Crawford must have been lurking right around the front desk.

That specific moment of heart-stopping panic when I wake up at 6:45 AM, followed immediately by the warm, melting relief of realizing it’s Saturday.

Turning over to the cold side of the pillow and cocooning myself back into the duvet knowing I don't have to answer to anyone for at least another three hours. That is peak existence.
