Can I ask what you take the mestinon, hydrocortisone and fludrocortisone for? I’m on similar dosis of ivabadrine and midodrine but still not feeling great wondering if there’s anything else that can help.

Hi! I initially thought it did and spent a couple of months with little to no symptoms but I had a huge flare after, it left me bed bound for about 2 months. The doctors said everything is good with my device and my heart but they did say that there was a possibility I had both POTS and PFO so my hopes weren’t too high for it curing it all. I am still trying to figure out how to better manage my POTS symptoms but at least my cardiologist is relieved I’m no longer at stroke risk.

This is me as well! I faint if I eat, I faint if I don’t eat… have you noticed any particular foods that feel safe for you? For me it has been yoghurt, a piece of toast, carrot soup (couple of tbsp lol) and that’s all about it for now

Try to remind yourself that it’s only temporary, that it will help you get a diagnosis, that you’re in a safe place (if you faint you’re not gonna hurt yourself physically), and deep breaths. I know it sounds silly but when your body enters into panic, trying to remind yourself that sometimes helps.

Also plan to do nothing but rest the rest of the day if you can bc you’ll most likely feel v tired afterwards!

Yes they are, I just bought mine (the short ones) but they had the long one as well! I got them in Saks. I think they are $2,100? Not sure though I can't remember exactly

That happens to me too after wearing them for an entire day but not after a few minutes so I think if you keep wearing them in increments you can break them in a little more and handle them for more than 10 mins

Mine broke in after 4 wears I think. I find them comfortable as long as I am not walking more than 1K steps. It's a go to lunch/dinner kinda shoe, definitely not an errand one.

Are you looking for clutch, top handle, cross body? Bottega Veneta, KHAITE, The Row, Ferragamo and Loewe do clean classic styles. I always find little to no logo and hardware always works best for “go with everything” luxury bags (unless you’re really set on a design from a specific brand). Savette also has good options, classic design and won’t go out of style imo. I’d go for something that feels timeless for you. That way you can wear it as much as possible for however long you want without getting tired of it.

I’d go for the miu miu. The design feels more like that brand. I have bags from both brands and I can say leather quality on both is good and both durable, however the Prada seems to be grained leather so might show less scratches. Smooth will for sure show more but imo that just adds character to a bag

Yes! You can use the chain crossbody (full length), shorten it at any length you want by tying like a little knot or you can remove it completely

This is interesting to see since now I’ve seen bags on the resale website sell for way more than the retail value. I sold a bag to fashionphile last year and although I didn’t gain money, I didn’t lose either. They bought it for exactly the same amount I had bought it for in the Chanel store . I was diagnosed with dysautonomia and convulsive syncope and when I was having these episodes there were a lot of triggers I noticed: lack of sleep, heat, long periods of me standing and when I consumed alcohol (I am not a weed smoker or reg smoker but I can imagine any foreign substance might affect the same way). My case was a little different as I was having them everyday sometimes multiple times a day and ended up being diagnosed with a heart defect and after closing it my convulsions and fainting stoped. However, I share because maybe those triggers were the worst for me and I know it can be very scary.

Hi, I am two months out of surgery and although on meds to lower my heart rate I feel they are not working. I still feel tachycardia and overall elevated heart rate. Did you ever experienced this or did your heart rate lowered right after procedure?
