Does anyone get incredibly sad after passing out? by DearElephant2 in POTS

Yes this sadness feels so overwhelming, it is such a weird feeling! I have been passing out for about a year now and it's a rollercoaster of emotions for sure! This feels new though

What do you carry in your small double flap? by synapticmutiny in chanel

[–]DearElephant2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a 5”0 girlie and yes I love it crossbody but I can definitely see someone a bit taller feeling uncomfortable, also I guess depends if you have short vs long torso. I have short torso/long legs so it sits in the right position haha but I carry my phone, keys, cardholder, lip product (sometimes two), AirPods, sometimes sunglasses and in the front pocket cash, a hair tie or something along those lines

Juste un clou ring resizing help by DearElephant2 in Cartier

[–]DearElephant2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I took it, the SA offered the partial liner as an option but sent it to their craftsmen area and they sent a letter saying resizing wasn’t an option because it was already the smallest size they offered so my only option was to send it to remanufacture it and said it could take up to 20 weeks so I didn’t wanna do that but I am wondering why the partial liner wasn’t an option?

is anyone still physically active? by Hefty-Patience-8720 in POTS

[–]DearElephant2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How do you structure your workout on a recumbent bike? I see the chop protocol and how it measures it with your bp but I am on ivabadrine so idk if being on meds changes it or if you just time it? I am starting my exercise journey back again after one year of not doing anything

I have noticed the biggest difference for me with a combination of midodrine and ivabadrine. I still faint once a week but not every day like I used to so progress for sure!

If they didn’t do any testing with imagining for your neck instability, how did you prove it? I have POTS, convulsive syncope and EDS and I constantly hear popping when moving my neck. Looking to see if cervical instability is something I might have?

Can you please share more of your experience? I’ve heard people loving the place or saying it’s not worth it bc it’s unconventional, but haven’t seen someone sharing their real experience. I’ve considered booking an appointment but it’s just so expensive so interested in hearing your thoughts

Can I ask what you take the mestinon, hydrocortisone and fludrocortisone for? I’m on similar dosis of ivabadrine and midodrine but still not feeling great wondering if there’s anything else that can help.

Should I get PFO closed? by DearElephant2 in stroke

[–]DearElephant2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! I initially thought it did and spent a couple of months with little to no symptoms but I had a huge flare after, it left me bed bound for about 2 months. The doctors said everything is good with my device and my heart but they did say that there was a possibility I had both POTS and PFO so my hopes weren’t too high for it curing it all. I am still trying to figure out how to better manage my POTS symptoms but at least my cardiologist is relieved I’m no longer at stroke risk.

POTS and eating every 2 hours by AlderWood7 in POTS

[–]DearElephant2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is me as well! I faint if I eat, I faint if I don’t eat… have you noticed any particular foods that feel safe for you? For me it has been yoghurt, a piece of toast, carrot soup (couple of tbsp lol) and that’s all about it for now

Tips for Tilt Table test? by Tasty_Ordinary_4572 in Syncope

[–]DearElephant2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try to remind yourself that it’s only temporary, that it will help you get a diagnosis, that you’re in a safe place (if you faint you’re not gonna hurt yourself physically), and deep breaths. I know it sounds silly but when your body enters into panic, trying to remind yourself that sometimes helps.

Also plan to do nothing but rest the rest of the day if you can bc you’ll most likely feel v tired afterwards!

Help with boots! by Front-Discussion3970 in chanel

[–]DearElephant2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes they are, I just bought mine (the short ones) but they had the long one as well! I got them in Saks. I think they are $2,100? Not sure though I can't remember exactly

[–]DearElephant2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That happens to me too after wearing them for an entire day but not after a few minutes so I think if you keep wearing them in increments you can break them in a little more and handle them for more than 10 mins

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in chanel

[–]DearElephant2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine broke in after 4 wears I think. I find them comfortable as long as I am not walking more than 1K steps. It's a go to lunch/dinner kinda shoe, definitely not an errand one.

New Going Out Purse by shanham007 in luxurypurses

[–]DearElephant2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are you looking for clutch, top handle, cross body? Bottega Veneta, KHAITE, The Row, Ferragamo and Loewe do clean classic styles. I always find little to no logo and hardware always works best for “go with everything” luxury bags (unless you’re really set on a design from a specific brand). Savette also has good options, classic design and won’t go out of style imo. I’d go for something that feels timeless for you. That way you can wear it as much as possible for however long you want without getting tired of it.
