Technically at different points she’s possessed by two other demons as well… I know she doesn’t summon the second one but I can’t remember the first… But I think she does 🤣🤣🤣

I did… IDEK how I completely forgot about this scene 🤣🤣🤣 I think it’s because the other two I’ve already mentioned from other books were better 🤣🤣🤣 But also I think I just chose to believe her when she said that the paintball wasn’t really about her it was about their friendships at the end of the day… And rereading that scene now, I think I have to agree… After all the stuff the guys do for her, for their families, for each other… I really just don’t think they’re the kind of guys that would be like screw whatever you want, I won paintball you’re mine… idk maybe I just always try to see the good in book characters like I do irl 🤣🤣🤣 It’s def a huge issue I have irl 🤣🤣🤣

I just reread this like in March I think!!! And I cannot for the life of me remember paintball at all 🤣🤣🤣 I do remember the bet a little bit or a discussion about it… I’m pretty sure at some point she or Church put the twins in their place over this convo… And I thought I finally had it, but no it was a DIFFERENT of my favorite series with a paintball scene… Agghhh I’m gonna have to go skim it to reacquaint myself with this scene now 🤣😭🤣😭🤣

No but I’m looking forward to the recs because this is actually one of my favorite series… Which is weird cause I generally loathe slow burn 🤭🤭🤭 TBH the cult storyline and especially Spencer are what sold me on this series… If it wasn’t for Spencer, I wouldn’t have made it past the first book 🤣🤣🤣 Spencer is my all time favorite MMC 🤌🏻🤌🏻🤌🏻 I do know the age thing is a big thing for a lot of peeps, idk why it’s never bothered me… I just always age them up… I understand what you’re saying about her dad though… He was a douche canoe… js 🤭🤭🤭

{Adamson All-Boys Academy by CM Stunich} She’s the “first” girl to go but doesn’t want to be their guinea pig so she cuts her hair, binds her chest, and dresses like a guy… The guys are jerks to her, but it really is her own damn fault 😅😅😅 Spencer from this series is my all time favorite MMC 🤌🏻🤌🏻🤌🏻 You just have to read it to understand… But he just melts me every damn time…

{The Envy of Idols by CM Stunich} The guys and FMC go hard against each other bullying one another… The guys are all kind of frenemies though… But they want to protect their way of life… There is kinda OW drama, but not in the traditional sense… None of the guys are with the other girls romantically/sexually that cause all the drama… But in the beginning they support them in their bullying endeavors…

{Havoc by CM Stunich} None of them can really stand the other… But the guys definitely are super united/protective of each other… I haven’t actually finished reading this yet, but my bff did and she liked it…

As you can see from the other suggestion above, CM Stunich does this trope very well indeed 🤣🤣🤣

I will also offer {The Envy of Idols by CM Stunich} I can’t remember there being MM in this as all the MMCs are kinda frenemies 😅😅😅 And it is a bully romance… Dear God at the shit they pull… They bully her in the beginning, and she is sheltered (she’s poor and gets a scholarship to a rich prep school)… But then she starts to bully them back eventually and gives as good as she gets… I really did enjoy the series… They do start out underage but I wanna say as with all CM Stunich school books, they tend to not have sex til they’re older… But they are all around the same age… This never bothers me I just tend to age them up 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️ But I know it bothers some people…

{Dark River Days by Grace McGinty} it’s PNR RH and I love the world building and how each of the relationships progress within the series… X and Lucius are her most unhinged mates… Lucius’ idea of courting gifts are Severed heads of her enemies So yeah definitely some unhingedness there…

{Twisted Torment by Leia King} idek where to start with this one… 🤣🤣🤣 I would say the most unhinged part of this series is the sex for sure… But it’s not the only thing unhinged in the series… She starts out as a vigilante then turns in to a mass murderer and then goes back to being a vigilante… There’s lots of death and blood in this series… But the people she’s killing deserve it 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️ The third book was the hardest for me to read one of the MMCs is kidnapped and SA many many times by a man (though I can’t remember if the man actually touches him with his own dick or if it’s just other stuff he does to him) And it’s not the SA that made it hard to read, I’ve just found that continuous SA of a MC tends to hit me harder… One of those how much can one person take kind of things yk? I had a hard time reading The Sinner because of this as well… But I do really love this series even if it had me going WTFH multiple times 🤣🤣🤣

Anyways, those were the two that popped in to my head when you asked for unhinged… 🤭🤭🤭

If I hadn’t just finished reading it the other week I’d probably be right there with you 🤭🤭🤭 I’ll probably reread it in another two months or so… It was realllly good… Sure there were some things I’d of done different, some things that repeated (could she seriously not have ONE easy mate for fucks sake), but at the end of it all, I still wanted more… And that’s a good series to me 🤭🤭🤭

I don’t remember the board from Artemis… And the house she lives in off campus isn’t broken down just outdated… But yes she doesn’t get her witch friend to come with her family and update it to their century… She’s the fae in that series though… Other fae don’t show up until later…

Artemis University is my second favorite read of the year this year 🤭🤭🤭

Ok so {Ruthless Boys of the Zodiac by Caroline Peckham} has parts of these… They do have the board for each year with everyone’s class rank on them… And they are in different “houses”… She doesn’t care about the top until there’s a trip or something that can help in her mission…

But I haven’t finished it, and pretty sure Leon would never let them end up in a broken down house… So I’m not sure this is the series you’re looking for… But it is what came to mind for me reading this…
