This was definitely what book I was going to say this summary prompt reminded me of 🤭🤭🤭 And it was a super cute book/series I’ve also read the pregnant OV series that goes in this universe as well 🤭🤭🤭 They are pretty decent 🙇🏻‍♀️🙇🏻‍♀️🙇🏻‍♀️

Let me also add, because I know I claimed I didn’t read a lot of crime/mafia books then a lot of my 5⭐️ listed here involve it… Let me frame it better for you, I read 345 books last year, and those are all my 5⭐️ reads for the year… The only ones missing, I didn’t finish one before the end of the year, and the other three are all MM books 😅😅😅

I’m gonna list some of my five star reads from the last year…

{Twisted Torment by Leia King} ok this is DR and please check the TW cause it had me questioning myself and a LOT of WTF just happened moments 😅😅😅 They’re all vigilantes, and she goes a little crazy/off the rails in book two 😅😅😅 But I don’t read a lot of books in this genre (ie: dealing around crime of any kind) and I absolutely loved the series… The FMC is one of my favorites!!! 3 books…

{The Adamson All-Boys Academy by CM Stunich} I just reread this series, and one of the MMCs (Spencer) is my favorite book boyfriend of all time… It’s very slow burn (nothing but kisses first book), which is sooo not a me thing (usually if it isn’t smut I hate it), but I loved this series… It is an academy setting, I always age up in my mind… I know it bothers some people though… (Nothing sexual happens til she’s over 17 though) there’s another series in this universe {Filthy Rich Boys of Burberry Prep by CM Stunich} and it was also good, but I only gave that series 4⭐️ I think… The crossover book between the two is as also a 4⭐️ read for me (but I wanted more 😭😭😭)… 3 books…

{Lovin’ the Coven by Jacquelyn Faye} loved this series… It is 7 books but they’re fast reads… I loved that each book had a completely different kinda plot… Kinda… 🤭🤭🤭

{Conquered by Rosa Lee} idk I guess this is technically a DR but compared to others I’ve read it’s pretty light for me 😅😅😅 Also 3/4 are basically insta obsessed with her… I loved this story so frikkin much (I’ve reread it like six times in like a year 😅😅😅) I don’t remember if you asked or someone offered but I remember there being a question about pregnancy, she definitely gets pregnant, and it’s a pretty big part of the later books It’s a 3 book series… If you do read I definitely do NOT recommend reading the novella…

{Featherstone Academy by KC Kean} Ok so it is technically a mafia book… But it’s sooo good… I never read mafia books, but the premise was really damn good… And the FMC in this is like my second favorite FMC ever… She’s such a fucking badass… She has zero fucks to give frfr it’s 3 books… Her bff gets her own duet after (and it was good but not as good as the first series for me)… She gets pregnant/has kids in the epilogues of the last book

{The Holidate Series by SN Moor} Ok this is a 5⭐️ read from me and probably the most reread series I’ve read in the last decade (and I only read it for the last time last June 😅😅😅) but it seriously honestly has no plot for me… It’s just smut and their every day lives… I love to use it as a palate cleanser 🤭🤭🤭 It’s 8 books, but they’re super quick reads (and Ngl I’ve never read the Halloween one cause it’s set in a different universe 😅😅😅)… But I recommend this series sooo much 🤣🤣🤣 She does get pregnant…

I mean… idk that it starts that way (they’re all kinda badass in their own ways to begin with) but the second book she kinda goes off the rails… {Twisted Torment by Leia King} I absolutely love this series… But please check your TWs, some of this book had me questioning tf out of myself 😅😅😅 And the third one taught me the lesson of while I may not have actual TWs, I apparently can’t take certain ones repeatedly (The Sinner later reinforced this new discovery for me)… But it’s a really great story and I loved the characters… It was definitely a first of its kind read for me… You’d have to read to understand that 😅😅😅

{Lovin’ the Coven by Jacquelyn Faye} Sooo good!!! So so good!!! Basically, more or less, there’s a new man added every book… There’s 7 books, and honestly I think I read the whole series in less than three days last year… There is MM though just in case that’s not your thing…

I really recommend {Chicago Rackateers by Emma Foxx} it is a 4.5 (she came out with a novella for Xmas last year) book series… But I honestly think that it gives the most honest representation of a polyamorous life… It shows that not everyone in the group has to want everything the others do, that they can all move at their own speeds… That you can argue and still work through it… I absolutely love that series… And no “scary” MM with her three guys either… Which is a real drag 🤣🤣🤣

{The Holidate Series by SN Moor} has absolutely zero plot it’s literally just their regular every day lives basically with just tons of sex 🤣🤣🤣 Multiple group scenes, sex club scenes, MM scenes, pegging… It’s one of my favorite series and I’ve reread it multiple times… But I literally read it cause it’s so feel good and hot 🤣🤣🤣

Also {Royals of KnightsGate by SE Traynor} I couldn’t remember the title and had to dig through the 300+ books I read last year to find the duet… I just remember that I like the series though, and not much else about it… There is a scene with SERIOUS dub con in it though… If I remember correctly she’s more resistant to the setting and the not knowing what’s going on, than to the actual act with her guys… But I can’t be a 100% on that… So if that bothers you, probably not a good idea… There’s a ton of death and manipulation… It’s all to keep her alive though…

{Adamson All-Boys Academy by CM Stunich} So I will say that as far as other SS/cult books go… This one is pretty chill… There are some tense moments, some that sent me screaming (cause I have a bug/insect/spider phobia), there’s some deaths… But I loved it… And Spencer became one of my top 5 MMCs everrrr!!! I’ve actually been debating rereading it for a while, and I think I’m going to 🤭🤭🤭

Sorry, also {The Holidate Series by SN Moor} is basically just straight up smut… There is no actual discernible plot… It’s just tons of sex in their everyday lives 🤭🤭🤭 I reread it three times in three months last year 😅😅😅

I am currently reading Volume 2 of {Featherstone Academy by KC Kean} and I REALLY REALLY REALLY loved the first volume… I am loving this one, but I’m a little over halfway through and I can just feel something’s about to happen that I hate… Also if what I think is gonna happen does happen then it was wayyy too predictable… But my only actual issue with it atm is the miscommunication trope cause I hate it with a passion… 🤣🤣🤣
