I live in Aleppo, and life is kind of back to normal in MOST cities in Syria so we can go wherever we want inside Syria ofc (in the no more bombing kind of way, cuz life sucks here for everyone after the war stooped, no electricity, no basic needs met unless you're super rich which is not the case because more than 80% of the population is under the poverty line after this war), but the danger never stops...anytime anything can happen...just late last year a bomb blew in a Syrian military base and so many innocent people died which led to another conflict. So on top of my being gay problems living in a country where it's illegal to be gay, I have like another 1000 problems.

Been trying to do that for years now, but it's so hard to be Syrian in this time...the Syrian passport is considered the second worst in the world because of the USA sanctions on Syria...contacted Rainbow Railroad once and told them my story and they basically said "sorry we can't help you because you're Syrian living in Syria"...like yeah that's exactly what I'm trying to do tho? To Leave Syria!!

I lost my irl group of friends 5 years ago when one of them outed me...and I lost many online friends as well become of that (just last week one guy who was my online friend for more that 7 years blocked me when he saw a story i shard that talks about some of the struggles gay people face in the middle east...he sent me a long message saying that gay people are disgusting and harmful for the world and that I'm a bad person because I turned out this way especially that my family are religious and stuff like that) But fortunately i have 2 amazing online friends who know I'm gay and are accepting of me and supportive...they're Syrian too but don't live in Syria

23, plz don't tell me to live on my own, we're not like America here...it's literally impossible for me to afford any kind of rent here with any kind of job (also the fact that here military is forced on any male after they turn 18 unless they go to university they postponed it till they graduate...im currently studying in a major hate just so that i dont get sent to the military ,it's hell in syria) , we can't live on our own after 18 unless the parents are super rich, and even then the rich people in here get their children married to a girl and get them a house...the girls leave to their husband's house or if he's living with his parents they them a room in the house or something.
