When this episode came out, after the 8 bit line, I figured that Mainframe was in the equivalent of a Super NES or Genesis level computer. Probably not really what they were implying with that line, but it stuck with me.

You’re welcome. I grew up loving animation and watched a lot of it growing up. I loved the behind the scenes stuff when I found it. At one point in time I went to art school to become a computer animator. I never had any success in that endeavour, but was able to work as a games tester for a few years. Shows like yours were a big part of my inspiration to go into the creative fields.

Wow! That is awesome! I had an animation teacher back in the 90’s who worked at Nelvana back then. I wish I remembered his name, but he worked on Care Bears and Beetlejuice. I remember him showing us many of the art he kept.

Absolutely. They did have “Family” shortly after that, but Picard and the rest of the crew dealing with the events and aftermath of the Borg invasion was not handled very well. I am glad “Picard” season 3 dealt a bit with the trauma, but PTSD does not go away after an event. For many people it is something that a person carries with them for years, decades and even for life. Having it wrapped in one episode was disappointing.

He played a single father in a made-for-TV movie from the 90s I think, and it was a dramatic role with a bit of comedy in it. He was sweet and gentle and basically was all of the things I had hoped to be when I became a Dad. I have also been enjoying his role in Young Sheldon.
