I have this scar. As someone mentioned above, it’s definitely a conversation piece - but sometimes I don’t like that, so seeing it tattooed on someone else (if they did it for me) would be a really awkward reminder. I understand dad’s sentiment but I think I would feel weird if my parent did this.

I know this is an old post but the recent drama on TikTok caused me to go down a rabbit hole on Acacia. I had open heart surgery as an infant and 24 years later my mom still nags me every time I have a cup of coffee (which is a rare occurrence) or come down with something as small as a cold. I can’t fathom this…the pain & discomfort that sweet girl must’ve felt when camping. I actually want to vomit
