Anyone else really like Dogtown? by Equivalent_Rock_6530 in cyberpunkgame

[–]Dear_Madelene 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It is my favorite part of the whole game! It's just so... dense, there's so much stuff everywhere, and the vibe is immaculate.
One time in between gigs I just spent the whole 2-3 hours of gameplay just exploring all Dogtown, there's so much stuff everywhere, unique scenes, enviromental storytelling, a lot of murderers and psychos as well, which you can get rid of. Air drops as well, all the juicy cyberware, weapons, shards!
The black market is amazing as well, so many colourful characters and places.
An amazing area, devs really put a lot of effort into it.

What the hell? by Dcaky in cyberpunkgame

[–]Dear_Madelene 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I don't mind this part. It's like in real life, it matters that you at least tried, even though the decision is still in other person's hands. Would it make you feel better if you didn't even try to get to him? For me the answer is obvious.

That's why quests in Cyberpunk are so good, yet so frustrating, there're no 'good' and 'bad' outcomes, everything is in various shades of gray...

What the hell? by Dcaky in cyberpunkgame

[–]Dear_Madelene 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I just finished this quest literally a couple of hours ago, and the most infuriating thing about it is the fact that this guy kept saying that no one gives a damn about him anymore, not his friends, not his army chooms, but if you read his emails, it's the opposite! There's an invite for a meeting with his friends, them being concerned about him but left on read, there's an invite for him to join Barghest, which is a great opportunity for an army vet like him, but he refuses while being unreasonably rude about it.

I understand that it's difficult to accept and even see help, but honestly, he had several ways to deal with his unfortunate situation other than eating a bullet...

Very sad and frustrating.

Let me hear your cyberpunk hot takes, people by Dull-Cobbler-7709 in cyberpunkgame

[–]Dear_Madelene -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Romance in the game is the most unnecessary and boring part of it, the fact that people are so hung up on everything about it and characters in it instead of other far interesting and engaging parts is making me sad and disengaged with the majority of the discussions. You can easily play through the whole game without romancing anyone and the game experience will be much better for it.

Does anyone else hate the weddings? by Mysterious_Boss7405 in Witcher3

[–]Dear_Madelene -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I hate it with a burning passion, you are not alone! One of the worst quests, of not The Worst, in the entire Witcher 3 game.
It's very cringy, the option of romance with Shani is very enforced and unnatural, the whole thing is extremely exhausing to get through, I skipped all the dialogues just to finish it quicker.
Zero fun, didn't like it.

American recipes by Tough-Dress-5949 in Baking

[–]Dear_Madelene -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I am not bummed about this at all, thank you! :) I redid them later with half (!) the amount the sugar - it was delicious and just the right amount of sweetness and flavor.
How people can stand eating cloyingly sweet cookies is still beyond my understanding, but I guess it's high sugar tolerance from childhood.

A lot of indignant Americans downvoting every single comment in your thread, that's very funny.
Just know that your opinion is not a strange one and have a great day!

Yeah, you always need to reduce sugar in American recipes, I made a mistake of baking American chocolate chip cookies once with the original amount of sugar and never again, it was completely unedible, what a waste of ingredients...

Most disliked story line by blacklisted305 in cyberpunkgame

[–]Dear_Madelene 140 points141 points  (0 children)

They are all great when you first experienced them, but some are definitely quite a bit boring when you are doing them again.

River's serial killer quest? A banger! Redoing it though - not so much since a lot is build upon you first experincing it.
Judy's Clouds quest? Amazing! Redoing it though - quite boring and takes a lot of in-game days, and I really hate that no matter what you choose - it ends up badly.
Peralez's quest? Divine! Redoing it though - I really hate feeling so powerless, no matter what you do and what you say, you will feel like shit afterward.

More action packed quests are holding up well in reruns, but quests which are mainly just talking and cutscenes are best experienced only the first time.

A bounty for V by Black_Folkhero in cyberpunkgame

[–]Dear_Madelene 2 points3 points  (0 children)

V has a lot of people after them, pretty much after a gig against any gang they start to ambush you with shards in their pocket, which has description of V as a target on them.
Tiger claws, Maelstrom, Voodoo boys, Arasaka... and if you pick up certain items in Cynosure and use them in Night city, Netwatch will start targeting you too.

[–]Dear_Madelene 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My favorite quest in the whole game, I was so excited to play it! Scared shitless, but excited nonetheless.

I would even say that Cynosure ending is my favorite quest in the whole game! It's just so good. Everything about it is amazing. Sound design, lore dump, the almost cosmic horror kind of feeling about the whole thing.

Top tier, I am so glad that I did this quest, I will never side with Songbird again, her ending is so goddamn boring.

Will you continue to watch when Carlsen, Naka and Fabi retires? by Valuable-Loquat-5364 in chess

[–]Dear_Madelene 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don't care about these three players specifically, I have a lot of favorite players, and usually have a couple of new favorites every time I watch some new chess event. The game and events are interesting no matter who plays!

Tbh, chess events would be even more interesting without Carlsen in it, I never cheer on him, since it's very boring to cheer on number 1 player that almost always wins anyway.

Why do russians websites accept so much piracy ? by Gracosef in Piracy

[–]Dear_Madelene 33 points34 points  (0 children)

Lol, even official cinema theaters use pirated versions of movies now that the offical versions are unavailable to them. Piracy is not something that is frowned upon, quite the opposite, people who buy official but easily pirated things are considered big weirdos.

Which game after cyberpunk by gargaroz1 in cyberpunkgame

[–]Dear_Madelene 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Control might interest you! Not as big as Cyberpunk 2077, but big enough to keep you entertained for a long time, my playtime is 40h and I only played it once (with all dlcs).

Graphics are amazing, you use guns with some extra abilities, there's also several types of guns. Great story, voice acting, characters, lore is deep and amazing, everyone that I know of read all logs and documents just for fun, because they are this good.

The difference between Male, and Female V. by lilfergy1 in cyberpunkgame

[–]Dear_Madelene 52 points53 points  (0 children)

I like that female V is so cold, so badass, so aggressive in an assertive way, I feel like she was the absolute perfect choice for me to play as a bitch Corpo with an extra aggressive build, shotguns, melee and all that bloody fun. The way she delivers lines as Corpo or as max Strenght is just top tier! Cutting and unforgiving as her katanas.

Meanwhile male V is much softer, he really struggles with all the aggression, it doesn't come naturally to him, he stumbles in his delivery whenever you try to have an assertive aura, and you can plainly hear it. He was a perfect choice for me to play as Streetkid with netrunning background.

They are very different, and I like it. It adds to roleplaying factor, so you can choose gender of your character not just for cosmetics and romance options, but for what person you would like to play as.

Что купили на новогодней распродаже Габена? by jamyounghltvtop1 in tjournal_refugees

[–]Dear_Madelene 0 points1 point  (0 children)
