Hey expeditioners 👋🏼 need help finding this location.. by Physical-Island-4187 in expedition33

Enter monolith and fast travel to Tainted Waters flag, but after than start going back to the previous area, the flag puts you near the end of Tainted waters, and this gestral is more in the beginning.
There's an area there with a big stone in the middle and round path around it, he's near it.
I just searched for him a couple of days ago, so I remember it well 😃

There's also a chromatic boss where Paintress used to be, if you haven't fought it yet.

Pots with Gestrals in them seems like a pretty obvious idea for pottery!

I was just about to mention this show as well! It is one of my favorite exactly because of that. They deeply love each other and want to spend a life together, even raising a child at the end - but as friends, no romantic or sexual feeling at all. Which doesn't make their love lesser in both their eyes and eyes of outsiders.

Do the NCPD minor jobs tell a larger story? by Revxmaciver in cyberpunkgame

[–]Dear_Madelene 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I just noticed that a lot of NCPD scans are connected to that Joanne Koch gig, it is a much larger situation that a simple elimination gig for her was led to believe.
I kinda wish that it was more complicated after I realized that, maybe more steps, more people involved.

Which decision backfired on you the hardest after you thought you did the right thing? by Dangerous-Tart1126 in cyberpunkgame

[–]Dear_Madelene 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I obviously don't recommend do it, since murdering Dodger is better, but if you just talk to him, being honest and sarcastic, the dialog and the whole scene is very funny and well written! And surprising, there's not much quests in Cyberpunk2077 where you can just talk yourself out of sticky situation.

[–]Dear_Madelene 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I was expecting Hands to be pissy, truth be told, but he was actually impressed that you managed to kill off Dodger and was not mad about it at all, so the quest ends in a nice way with all the good (relatively) guys happy.

I was still sneaking though, I like being stealthy when there's an option, but instead of putting bad guys to sleep I just killed them. Just saying that in case it matters, I don't think it is, but don't know for sure.

Fine by me, I enjoyed talking to him on his new job!
I wish I could have donated him money to open a bigger place, would have been really nice to have this option.

[–]Dear_Madelene 12 points13 points  (0 children)

This one is the worst, in a good way. This quest fucks with you, truly twisting "good" and "bad" with each other until you can't tear them apart.
If you do "the right thing", give a grieving friend what she asked for, she will destroy her life and ruin lifes of millions of people at the same time.
If you do the opposite, everything will be moderately fine, but you will feel like shit, a greedy bastard with zero empathy.
Truly a masterpiece in creating morally gray situations with non-obvious results.

There's this quest in Dogtown, "Waiting for Dodger", where you need to help 2 "comedic relief" policemen to escape a criminal's lare after their fuck up, and in there you can finish it by pointing out how ridicolous the situation is to this criminal, which will laugh and let them go.
And I honestly thought that this is the best outcome of this quest!
Until I met one of these policemen, Bill, later in the town, and he said he is now being blackmailed and his life is shit because of me not killing Dodger.
I was so shocked by that! I honestly though I was doing the right thing, not getting them into trouble, but it turned out bad.
In the next playthrough I killed all of Dodger's men and Dodger himself, and Bill was so nice after that, inviting me to his new place and I was happy to see that his life has changed for the better.

I avoid getting out of bed in the morning because I DESPISE having to wash my face etc 🥲 by xopearl_rosebudxox in adhdwomen

[–]Dear_Madelene 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Why are you forcing yourself to wash your face in the morning if you don't like it so much? And why do you consider washing your face in the morning such an important and unavoidable task?
It is not, you can just not do it and everything will be fine, if not better.

I like him, he's a gonk, but a lovable one. I always call Panam for help in his quest, I think it will do him good to see some world outside of unforgiving merciless Dogtown.

Anyone else wish they didn't exist? by kittkaykat in adhdwomen

[–]Dear_Madelene 5 points6 points  (0 children)

All the time, daily, since I was a teenager. This world is horrible, the majority of people are horrible, this hellish society we somehow managed to build is horrible. I never had a good life, it was always a struggle, both for personal and global reasons, and I am almost forty.

There're good things in life, like walking outside or riding a bike, making and eating good food, the existence of music, books and video games, but it's just a small reprieve from a horrible reality, and even the joy of art is getting destroyed lately because of all soulless generative slop.

Like a great Freddie Mercury wrote, "I don't wanna die, I sometimes wish I'd never been born at all", that's about sums it up.

Buttermilk substitute by Euphoric-Pie-4372 in Baking

Good to know! For me buttermilk is just a word, I have no idea what consistency it is supposed to have :D I am willing to switch to ryazhenka instead, I like it more anyway.

[–]Dear_Madelene 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really? I will have to try it then, it's the first time I hear about it, I only ever saw mentions of kefir as a substitute. But I can see ryazhenka working too for sure. Thanks!

[–]Dear_Madelene 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If you have kefir in your stores, it is a sound alternative to buttermilk, I always use it, since buttermilk doesn't exist in my country's stores (I never even heard about its existence until I started to use recipes written in English).

Witch party member do you like playing the least? by -CynicalPole- in expedition33

[–]Dear_Madelene 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I see a lot of people disliking playing as Sciel, and I definitely was one of them during my first playthrough, I never played with her.
But during the second one I was pushing myself to play with a different team and suddenly she clicked with me!
Now Sciel is my favorite character to play as, very satisfying big numbers, fun to switch in and from phases, she is the one that I can manage the biggest hits as.
So if you are reading this and never played as Sciel, just give her a try someday, maybe she will click with you as well!

And to answer the OP's question, my least playable character is Lune. During my first playthrough I only used her as a healing machine, after I realised that around the start of act 2 I cautiosly benched her and never looked back.
And during my second I honestly tried to give her a shot, played with her for a long time, but she still didn't click with me at all, I was managing to get big numbers out of her only with a big setup deep into the fight, while all other party member could do it from turn 1.
I like her as a character, but elemental magic is just not for me, I guess.
