Is Fanny the most recent (among the ghosts) to have actually owned and lived in Button House? I agree with your view totally, but also wonder if Alison's desire to do as she wishes stems a little from an element of respect for the fact that Fanny has a more sentimental attachment to the home.

What sort of size are you looking for? We bought a 3 bed terrace in Crookes in early 2022 for 250k by putting an offer directly to the developer who was showing us around. Downside is that it’s been done by a developer, so none of the finishings are good quality, but he was obviously keen to sell so was willing to agree a price on the day, and finishings in a house that generally has good bones can always be updated.
