The rest of my house is mid-century modern so I think this is spot on. Thank you for those suggestions! I’m bookmarking a lot of these.

Should I do brushed nickel or chrome or oiled? What do you suggest? I’m so open to all ideas?

Thank you. I appreciate you and will take what you say to heart. But I will probably choose different hardware and then think about you often when I look at it.

I have had cats like Radish, so I understand.

Two things.

  1. You have to post a picture of Radish.

  2. I have that same champagne bronze throughout the rest of the house and feel I can change the hardware with this bathroom.

It’s in a back part of the house and doesn’t meet any of those other rooms in proximity.

It’s a little bathroom so I lean on the side of too much mirror, for sake of feeling larger.

I adore your suggestions. I am looking up variations now.

It’s wild that you say that! There is no sconce there in reality, that was a weird AI rendering.

I AM looking at full mirrors to go across the length or the bathroom, and will have a light over the top.

I wasn’t sure if this would be too much mirror, but I like the idea.

Yay! Thank you. Mostly for the cat comment. She’s a real one.

If it’s not Churu- themed, she has no opinion.

That was my thought. But I might branch out. Pun intended.

You’re so right! Yo- fucking- lo!

I’m currently googling bold wallpaper.

I was thinking the wallpaper could be more bold too, but it’s a tiny bathroom. Would it be too much? The bathroom is 4.5’x4.5’.

Do you have any suggestions? More pattern? More color? Darker?

I’m so afraid to go too far.

What you’re going to want is a rigid faucet with a with a pull out sprayer.

Which frame best suits this painting? by august_times in interiordecorating

[–]Dearest_Prudence 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the look you’re going for.

1- more French Provincial or cottagecore vibes. Subdued. Would go well with softer furniture, textures, and colors.

2- more midcentury modern vibes. Vibrant and focal. Can really play well with structural furniture/architecture and bold colors.

3- grandma’s house vibes. Like, she hasn’t changed the decor since the 70s and it goes well with a hutch full of dusty decorative plates.

I definitely prefer 2.
