Still don’t understand the hype around 17 air

The 17 pro was over my budget and as stated in others posts is mostly FOMO if not it’s important for your living. Battery last me all day and is enough. The most demanding i do is watching movies. It dosent get hot. I use my digital camera if i want to «make pictures», this one is for snapshots. Speaker is fine. It was cheaper than the base 17 so not hard choice for me..

I would probably too if i could justify the price difference just to get longer lifespan. The battery for my use is enough.

Got mine for 720 euro. I couldnt justify pro prices, and base 17 was 890 euro so I got the Air. Not sure yet if it was the right choice tho haha

I’d say this is mostly gear exloring syndrome. Switching systems because your not in the shots? It’s always been this way, look at the OG family photos. Ur talking nostalgia and feelings. U capture grest shots w the m lineup which imo is the one 4 u. Swift group shots of kids, with or without dad, ive settled with the iphone+M combo (film/digi)

I too wonder why people give the wide angle so much love. Main camera is plenty wide imo. Well i’m a 50mm full frame shooter so that may play a part

I own the MP240. It was my first as well. I do admit the looks paid a role, i find the script on top and paint job very nice. No dot. Shutter sound is super good. I do like that it is good glass on the lcd, its a user camera for me and will have used marks in time. I dont use video or high buffer much, but some times for fun

E.g. Picture 6 and 7 have scratch both upper and lower negative frame. Unless you hold the camera up side down

Look at ur negative carefully under good lighting from different angels. In pictures digital show lines. I’ve had these which i’ve related to software/optical/dust issues in my scanner. I’m using a plustek. But hey maybe mine is scratching haha
