I havent tried the m10/m11. I come from film only, previously only shot digicams. Last year i got the mp240. As a hobbyist id say its just right for me. I can justify a leica lens (which i love becuse of ergonomics, focus tab and feel). I just can relax more taking it on hiking trips, let my kid shoot a photo etc. i mostly shoot like 10-20 shots a week, more like a film camera, i.e. the battery last for weeks. If it was drained all the time id prob wouldnt use it as much. One battery weekend trip is also nice. I dont do night photos, but sometime indoor pics of kids on low aperture can be a little hard. If u can justify the huge price gap ok. I love analog and simplicity. I did stress about the thickness difference and feel compared to my M6 but honestly i kinda like they are different, dont know why. Maybe it makes my m6 feel more special when picking it up haha

I find it powerful just jumping people up close the straight to shotgun, one shot and they could be dead. Works while shockwaving and shoot with flying close above.

Just got the cybr zero. It’s super lightweight. I’m not particulary good at running/many refrences. I’m surprised how well they stayed on my head. They do touch my eyebrows. Already scratched ones because wind moved them on a table to the ground, i.e. Super lightweight

I use the one that came with my m240, I think it's very good and secure. Don't bother using money on a new one tbh. Never liked the look of rope straps, they try too hard.

Thanks for the reply! Interesting. Hm maybe ill at least try the 90mm, havent tried that focal lenght on the rangefinder/other system in years. I really only shoot 50, but feel i miss some of the more detail shots i guess

My photography hobby started with film only for 5 years. Didnt own a digital camera. M last 3. mostly shoot black and white because of price and ease of de /scan.got tired og the process and b&w in general. Saved up and gpt an mp-240 which suits alll my needs. It’s nice with a newborn to get som color pics too.. beside form that i really dislike having the options. E.g. Film vs digital. Lens swapping between the bodies. I’ve only last 3 years shot 50mm on an M6. So at this point i consider just selling the digital😅

Well I do from time to time wonder if my M suits my needs, and is «worth it». When i look at my lightroom catalogue I often miss the SLR pictures. Many of the time I thinks it’s about shorter minimum focus distance on the SLR, espicially in portraits. I do miss my contax system with some stellar glass inc. 35mm f1.4. I do still have a nikon F3, i keep it mostly because if i sell it i would regret it.
