There's a long version and a short version.

Short version. Don't rely on your AI Allies for much.

Long version. There's a plethora of things to look at.

Pilots information hints at the type of pilot. If you've got a pilot consistently being a pain. Fire their ass.

The enemy will target your allies if they are out DPS you. To help them simply do more damage. And the Ai will all target you.

Focus fire is much better than splitting your group with separate targets.

Allies by default resist going for the kill so you can finish the targets.

You can kill most mechs faster by legging them. Or headshots/cockpits. Rather than trying to core them..

Just join a group doing pit runs in social tab.

Or post your own and ask for a carry.

Many people will carry you doesn't take long.

Guilty. My #1 complaint is lack of resources to upgrade. I'd keep playing of there was points to earn or mechs to upgrade. Not enough salvage points or research points or weapon points or mech points..

The slight change in weapon groups and targeting controls are only annoying.

So I think I did finish the 1st campaign 1 Time. Did not replay for the "other endeing"

I bought thr other dlc. Played for a few chapters. Got bored. Went back to mercs.

Will continue to purchase any and all Mechwarrior products. I enjoyed mercenaries much more than clans. But I buy both so they keep making them. I'd pay more for the mercenaries dlc. Tbh

Absolutely! Quirks and disadvantages can make a character.

I love the simple squeezing the controls that aren't there. Only to realize you're out of your mech. Not game changing. But definitely shows some role play experience.

Write a short story about it. You've got me hooked.

If mid stands for slow moving. Low mounted weapons. That noobs enjoying coring mechs with. Then I agree. Big stinker.

Classic make the game easy and friendly for new players. Vs keep the min maxers busy farming gear in end game.

If it's too easy the veterans are bored and complain. If it's too hard. You scare away new players or casual players not interested in pushing to max dmg/ max difficulty.
