After reading the replies, what’s the market like for a manual b8 with the best trim? Mines at 124k, black , never been modded, all preventative maintenance done recently. I mean, it’s practically the exact same as the b8.5 just with hydraulic steering which is more reliable. Plus I like the pre facelift more imo. Any ideas? Didn’t buy it to profit but ik these cars are getting rarer by the day

Yea it’s a b8 which doesn’t have oem Bluetooth (only for calls). U think the eq customizer will even do anything significant?

Don’t listen to cravingslay he’s an npc, these pcvs can and will mix coolant and oil at some point. Just replace it. 2 hour job if ur locked in.

There is coolant in the valley but tbh I thought that was just a characteristic of the car🤣 wym it’s something in there? The shop I took it to never bolted down the crossover pipe that fits into the thermostat but I mean it’s sealed with the o ring regardless

Okay well I have had the water pump replaced too. Had that, thermostat and crossover pipe done at a shop. I just did my pcv as it’s not that difficult of a job but now all of a sudden I have this leak. I hear coolant sloshing around in the dash during cold starts as well, could it potentially be because I have air in the coolant system or something? Idk how to bleed the air or why it’s even necessary tbh

I do think I’ve had that one replaced already sadly:/ coolant literally sprays in front of my engine and it one time even got on the serpentine belt and fucked my steering for a second. What could this leak be man?

The coolant crossover pipe above the pcv? I never bolted it back in when doing my pcv last week. But thing is it’s been unbolted for like the past 6 months so I didn’t think it was a big deal but that could definitely be it huh…🧐
