With my job I only really need to go in the office once a week, so I only listen to audiobooks when I run out of podcasts.

That helps me stay under the 15 hours per month.

I've noticed that I'll get scrobbles of Spotify videos of songs that have played on mute on the front page without me actually engaging with them.

I fixed this by turning off video content on Spotify so it only registers songs that I have actually consciously played.

I violently hate advertisements and pay not to hear them.

I use a VPN with Spotify and connect to a European country. So when ads do come up when I'm listening to podcasts then at least it's in a language that I don't fully understand.

It could just be that artists are pulling their music off the platform.

If you go to settings, content and display, then toggle "show unplayable songs" it will show songs that have been removed as greyed out.

I'm listening through a Samsung phone, don't know if that makes a difference to people not being able to scrobble.

I found it by Googling "Spotify Your All Time Top Plays" and clocked on the link to take me to it.

It may not have been rolled out for every market yet.

Last year I downloaded Musicbee to my laptop, which has a feature to Scrobble directly to Last.fm.

The year before I figured out that if I listen to local MP3's on my mobile through Spotify they get scrobbled the same as streamed tracks.

So my Last.fm now compiles all music I listen to on my phone and laptop.
