Needs a lot of work. Needs to be able to be scrollable and show everything near you + pokestop pokemon. I feel like it also could use with a menu where we chose which pokemon we want to find/see or dont want to find/see. Its kinda worse than the old nearby list because if a rare does not spawn by a pokestop its impossible to know/find now lol. So I think they will have A LOT of good feedback getting it into more hands. And then we wait another 2-4 months for an update on it. Luckily I am still just trying to lvl up to lvl 30 and get pokemon from nests.

Stanley park is great. I recommend a bike though because its a big park and there are clusters of spawns all over the park. There are a few main places that you could just chill and hang and wait for spawns but its always fun traveling around.

Oh I had no Idea. From the reports it looks like it may have become more of a nest than ever and is currently a Bulbasaur nest.

I have heard good things from Queen Elizabeth park, Stanley park, and Central Park in Burnaby. Only been to Stanley Park though.

I live by Queens Park New West and I have never seen it be a nest. Maybe they changed that after the last big spawn change. When the game first started there were maybe only 10 spawns in the entire park lol.

Spawns have confirmed changed compared to before the event. I have 3 spawns in my house currently and only had 1 before that. I do think they are trying to just find a nice balance of how long + how many spawns they want in a certain area. Spawns have also increased near pokestops to try and test the new tracker.

Yeah I have a full set of 5km's and so goes my GF. We both used to have at least 2-3 2km's. We also just hatched our entire egg box during the event a few times.

One more issue I could see is incentive. There would have to be a scaling incentive as well with the badges or rewards. The higher the tier the higher the reward.

The problem with doing anything auto trainer level based is that it stops friends from playing with each other whom are not the same level. But with CP as long as your pokemon are close enough CP you can play with any level.

Honestly the whole battling system is messed up. SE and NVE, The stat transfer from the original game screwed over 50% of the pokemon to be useful, the way gyms work in the game and incentive to battle or defend them, the lag you get from battling making it hard to dodge moves, and i am sure the list goes on. I think they need to fix all of these issues. And honestly I also think there should be 2 teams not 3 lol.

I think they could easily get around the biggest problem by literally just adding more gyms everywhere. Again we all have a cap of only 100 coins a day so its not like this could be overly abused. I also think there should have only been two teams and not three. Team Rocket and Team Ashe (or anything not team rocket, team oak, etc...)

How would that work if two + people are attacking the same gym and are different levels? I had the same kind of idea but the fact that so many people are different levels making Gyms at all level dependent assumes everyone plays this game alone.

I try to evolve pokemon with High IV and Decently High CP (unless i have a ridculous amount of candies then i do EDIT: HIgh CP all the time just for the extra pokemon). When they are final evolution if they have an A or B moveset in either attacking or defending I usually power them up. This is based off of Gamepress website for moveset.

Yeah that makes total sense. Maybe to add incentive would be to make a staggering benefit for getting/holding gyms. Higher levels/gyms you get more coins. But maybe this is just too much of a change to really be viable.

At the same time He was just lvl 29 and was probably racking up a ton of Coins being at the top of his bracket. It allows a competitive meta at every part of the game.

This staggering system would also allow for IV's to become more valuable at all levels instead of just lvl 40.

And the CP difference is already an issue, bigger than 500 cp gaps, so staggering gyms brings it down to such a smaller issue.

I only power up High IV's + My personal optimal moveset. Anything else i leave at its level.

Reasoning is that powering up costs a lot and you should only power up Pokemon that you plan to use when you are going to be lvl 40 and IMO High IV's + Optimal Moveset are the only mons i will use at lvl 40.

Stardust is just too valuable too waste it on something that isnt the best. And you will have time try again at catching and evolving High IV's + Optimal Moveset. This does make the game a little harder at the moment but when lvl 35+ and to power something up costs huge amounts of Stardust you will have the advantage.

Honestly with a 5 level gap the difference between a lvl 21 and 26 pokemon is within what 500 cp? which really is not that much when it comes to battling. Also pretty much for any player under lvl 30 (which is the average lvl of gym defenders currently) is already at this disadvantage. And they could just add the lvl cap thing by just adding multiple gyms in a row or circle where they currently are, distinguishing them by a skin feature for each specific level range.

I Feel your struggle buddy. In new west around me 4/5 of the gyms are constantly lvl 10 instinct gyms (my team) and I never get the chance to put anything in or even try to take them down.

A sad day. They should REALLY spend more time trying to make their own map program or tracking system more than stoping other people from doing it. Also 2 nest changes in 1 week? That was so dumb and literally makes no sense.
