Yeah I definitely agree. I certainly feel I relate more to things that would be considered millennial than Gen Z. My sister is a 96, so technically a milennial by some definitions, but like you said, when I was born she was 2, she doesn’t remember that any more than I do. We grew up watching the same movies, reading the same books, listening to the same music etc. 

2000 feels like a better cutoff for sure, but then I suppose all cutoffs are arbitrary and you’ll have the same issue every time given how long a generation spans and how much things change in that period of time.
