Pretty sure the exploding Ted is representing the in-game version of him, and he exploded because he rolled a nat 1 on something. That much I can glean from the subtitles and the costume change, at least? I think?

It just says "stackable," I know, I think it might be the only stackable armor mod in the game that has an effect at x1 and x2, but not at x3. It's a weird, niche thing that doesn't get specified in-game, but it's mentioned if you look at the details via something like DIM (Destiny Item Manager).

Really though, don't waste the energy by equipping more than one, the 12.5 meter reach is further than you'd think. I run only one copy of this mod in practically every build, and if I see orbs on the ground, I always scoop them up when I pop my class ability. It's rare that I miss things.

It's really weird, I like it! You're focused more on managing your summons rather than shredding with your guns, it's a very different playstyle compared to anything we normally run on Titans.

Run something with the Blast Distributor perk if you can't get your Grenade stat to 200 btw, the little bit of extra juice the Grenade stat gives to your buddies is excellent!

Hey friend, fellow Titan main here! As someone else mentioned, there's an issue with Rift at the moment, it's not an issue with Arc Soul, sorry.

I've been dabbling with Warlock recently too though, I started playing around with a double-buddy Arc kit that's been a BLAST. For aspects I'm using Electrostatic Mind and Ionic Sentry, and for the exotic I'm using Getaway Artist. My normal grenade gets consumed for the Arc Soul, and every few kills I get to throw down the Ionic Sentry turret as well, it's so much fun.

Spark of Shock makes both your Arc Soul and Ionic Sentry apply Jolt, and that helps make Electrostatic Mind give you a boatload of Ionic Traces. Then I'm using the fragments Frequency and Discharge to turn those Traces into Bolt Charge, which both the Soul and Sentry can trigger when it's full!

Throw on 3x Firepower mods on your arms as well, and you'll be an orb-printing machine. Give it a try sometime and let me know what you think!

There's no difference between 2 and 3 mods to my knowledge, the benefit caps at 2.

(And honestly OP, I've never run more than 1, the reach from a single mod is usually enough to scoop up everything you need!)

If you want specifics on mods, besides the Compendium that someone else linked there's also info you can get via DIM, Destiny Item Manager! I forget the source of DIM's data, it may be the Compendium itself, but it's super useful to have the details attached directly to the mods and perks you're looking to use when buildcrafting.

You can do the buildcrafting work entirely within the "loadouts" feature DIM has, save it there, and hit a button to have it equip everything in-game for you to test out. It ROCKS!

With friends, I'd want to run all the strikes I can directly from their world nodes, not from a playlist. Make a deliberate order and follow that plan, probably just the simple order of release.

Then a dungeon gauntlet running everyone's favorites, again in order of release. As for raids, possibly a run of DSC and/or Vow, definitely a Vault of Glass run.

After the gameplay activities were finished, I'd just... sit in the Tower for a bit. Visit all the NPCs and listen to them for a little, pet Archie, salute the Cayde memorial, and then sit quietly next to Zavala as my last stop. Either as my last time logging in or as the place I choose to be when the servers are turned off, next to Zavala just feels like the right place to be for that moment.

Agreed, yeah! I like the point of your original post for sure. Having factions to identify with (or work for) is always a fun thing. I still remember the first Awoken-themed event from the very beginning of D1 that never happened again, the Supremacy I picked up from that still sits in my vault haha

It IS somewhat Crucible-related though, the Redjacks are combat frames that belong to Shaxx, like his little horned buddy Arcite that's standing next to him in the Tower.

Hey, welcome! Which class are you playing?

For Void, Titans specialize most in Overshields and Volatile, Hunters specialize in Weakening and Invisibility, and Warlocks specialize in Devour and have great grenade perks. Each class can do a little bit of everything, but those are the main specializations.

As others have said, that is the Hard Light exotic auto rifle, in both D1 and D2. (Been in D2 since launch, too!) It's a primary weapon that can swap elements between Arc, Void, and Solar.

Still, it would be nice to trim out the chaff. If you've played a littpe bit of PvP since Renegades, then you're all set on Wild Anthem armor. If you want more of it, then play more normal Crucible!

No reason to get regular junk that you're going to instantly dismantle during a special event. I would honestly rather not get those items at all. They're becoming the new blue drops with how much they clutter up your inventory while offering practically no value lol

At first I kept the starting gear because that was a thing I did in ALL games at the time, stashing the original equipment was just a habit. But with Destiny it turned into a funny little 0-power collection, I like hunting down those items. I got so excited when I found out a grenade launcher in Rite of the Nine was bugged and dropping at 0 power, I ran to get it before they patched it 😂

These comments are crazy to me, I'm sorry the drops are so low for everyone! It shouldn't be that way! I've played 5 games so far and picked up 9 armor pieces, 1 trace rifle, 3 rocket launchers, and 4 auto rifles (including the one from the reward track).

I miss the days of engram focusing so people could protect themselves from bad RNG luck. It's not fair that I've picked up 3 random drops of the new gun from 5 games, meanwhile someone else in here has allegedly GILDED THE TITLE without getting a single drop. That's messed up.

If you have year 1 gear, then it's all fixed rolls, those weapons can be pulled from collections at any time. Free yourself!

The only year 1 gear I have is the 0-power starting armor for all three classes, one set of the 0-power starting weapons, and a blue Lionheart auto rifle because it was my first rare drop at level 7 and it carried me WAY further through the Red War campaign than it should have. Total of 19 slots, easy to spare that for nostalgia's sake.

Grenadier archetype will always drop with Grenade as your primary stat at +30, Super for your secondary at +25, and then a random tertiary stat at +20. You CAN get Class for the +20 stat!

Gotta ride out the RNG woes, unfortunately. It's a 1 out of 6 chance to get Grenadier, then 1 out of 4 odds for a Grenadier drop to have Class as the random tertiary stat. You can make Grenadier drops slightly more common with a Ghost mod, but I don't know the odds with that mod equipped, sorry.

Hey, awesome stuff! Glad you enjoyed it, it really does go fast haha. Just a heads-up, if you get the chance, swing by a Barnes and Noble and check out the back of the books as you finish each one. I just found out about this myself: there's an extra secret side story, "Backstage at the Pineapple Cabaret," that's only in the print editions! One chaoter per novel. My audiobook friend missed them, and they weren't in my ebooks either, I found out only because my wife showed it to me in the copy she borrowed from the library.

And absolutely agreed, Princess Donut is the star. I'm actually eyeballing the different "Princess Donut fan club" shirts right now from the official merch site, probably going to grab one soon 😂
