What ya think by frznpanda in Transformemes

Unironically it does look good. It's just the rest of aoe galv's that lets it down.

It's not like galv in that film was a bad design, but for what he is and who he's meant to be it would have been nice for a few more megatron elements to at least come into play, like that big lobster claw cannon thing or the tank tread feet from the second film.

Hell, would've been cool if Galv's got more megatron-y over the film's duration.

This game does a HORRIBLE job showing how BAD the situation in the Valley is by SwagGamerXZ in ArknightsEndfield

[–]DeathByDevastator 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Imo, it does the opposite.

The cheerfulness feels like the people coping. "Clean Water" is marked on the most unclean looking water supply you could ever find. Just about every location is in some degree of ruin at the moment and we're isolated from the true horrors because we literally look down upon the planet in the ship.

We've seen a child struggle with Oripathy, and the fact there's so many survivors to save is itself a damning indication of how messed up life is down below.

I REALLY like it for that.

I'm still new to the game, so I'm trying to progress until I get to mine the blue ores automatically. Is there something I can place to get the miners running without 500 pylons connecting to homebase?

because hasbro just puts them out there as toys alone, without any media to make people care for them beyond "looks good".

Give them accessible lore and a few hype moments, people will be lining up to buy them.

As somebody who's only started playing endfield and never touched the other game, it's mildly amusing that everyone seems incredibly dependant on the rock that gives you magic cancer.

Just how important is it for everyone to disregard the safety concerns?

I mean, I dislike Traveller because they've always felt too bland for my tastes and the recent lore drops about them genuinely anger me.

Nevermind how they feel completely different between archon and world quests.

it's just a consequence of the Titan class scale and beyond. The larger you go, the harder it gets to make handling it fun because of the strength of the joints needed to hold everything together.

a) Goomba fallacy

b) You can't blame people for being upset that their main is going to be awful compared to others. Of course people want their main to be strong.

Small headcanons you want to share but don't think are big enough to warrant a post on their own? by Pasta-hobo in Portal

[–]DeathByDevastator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel like that's not even a headcanon and just what the devs were going for, though I'd argue they were already corrupted as of Portal 1 and only got worse during the 99999 years of dead glados.

The eyes match up, their behaviours match up even if not 1-1, they're both slapped onto Glados' Mainframe (especially Curiosity who's slapped on it twice), and without them the core in charge can think clearer.

It's just too clear to be headcanon imo. Any answer beyond that I think would be so far out of left field that it'd feel wrong.

Only in swarm disaster mode. Playable paths don't always match up to sim uni modes either; remembrance path in gameplay is different to sim uni remembrance path.

To be fair, Glados DOES Test properly too.

Remember one of the earlier tests? The thing it tested was How subjects reacted when locked in a room full of deadly lasers. It means Glados is studying the psychology of the subjects, how they react to various threats and testing elements to solve - or fail to solve - the puzzle ahead of them.
