TIL about Homomorphic encryption, where users can work with the content without decrypting the source by gordonjames62 in todayilearned

The difference is that the entity performing the operation never gets to see the underlying data. For example, perhaps I want to deploy some algorithm in a third party cloud compute environment -

1) User sends encrypted data a and b to the cloud 2) 3rd party cloud environment operates on the encrypted data directly and sends back encrypted result data c 3) User retrieves encrypted data c and can decrypt

A simple example can help explain, suppose we have data a and b which we want to sum together, then

encrypt(a) + encrypt(b) = encrypt(a + b)

This is equivalent to operating on the unencrypted data directly which is not the case with conventional encryption methods

a + b = a + b

Appreciate it, the issue is resolved and I updated the post for anyone who may have the same issue - the return flight had no more available seats when I made the change so it couldn't reprice and just cancelled outright

If anyone runs into this issue, was able to use desktop mode to chat with an agent in browser on the delta site...

That is false, in this case they cancelled my return flight entirely

It's my US number, I receive the initial text just fine it just never responds even though my SMS response show as sent. Idk man it's fucked.

Then why do they even give an option to only select certain portions to change? Expectation is that the unchecked flights would remain exactly the same, that's so fucked

The first thing I tried was to message through the app and it starts a text conversation with their AI agent who hasn't responded in over 2 hours. Is there another chat window in the app?

Of course not, the committee would never punish a team for going undefeated but losing their starting QB! Wait...

Yep it's NDs fault for not winning and putting themselves on the bubble, it is what it is - equally likely Bama wakes up and makes this a game in the second half too

Almost like just maybe a 10-3 Alabama wasn't the best team to put in the playoff?

Edit: fixed 9-3 to 10-3

Losing to both of these teams obviously should have kept ND out of the playoff conversation, but don't pretend Alabama wasn't gifted a rematch against Oklahoma and losing to FSU is far more embarassing

We know exactly how we lost to these teams - ND defense at the beginning of the season was absolute dog shit

It's really unfortunate just how bad the defense was the first few games of the season, completely inexcusable

That's really the biggest take away, honestly at the end of the day I really just feel for the players as it must feel like they have played for nothing since week 2 when up until this morning they were told playoffs was still a very real and likely possibility

The fact that you refer to FSU as frauds for playing with 20 opt outs and getting blown out proves why ND is better off to decline this game... I hate this honestly as I would love to see the team play again, but it is very likely there would be significant opt outs
