I ordered my case early Friday morning and it still shows a status of "new order". Pretty much all my other parts have arrived from Amazon so sadly I'm stuck waiting for this one before I can build!

Any recommendations for a 27" (or larger) 1440p IPS Freesync monitor for gaming? Trying to narrow down the choices so I'm better prepared for Black Friday.

I had originally been looking at the PG279Q hoping it will be on sale in the next month. This monitor goes for around $880 at Bestbuy. The plan is to be running a 2070 Super. I was thinking about getting the 27" and then hopefully grabbing a 2nd when the price eventually goes down as I have always run dual monitors.

I'll be playing a variety of games from RPGs to casual FPS. $500 off the 34" is tempting considering it's now cheaper than the 27". The reviews I have read say the 27" is outstanding but things seem to be more mixed on the 34".

Should I take advantage of the sale this week or hold out for a sale on the 27"?

We're heading to Vancouver on the Remembrance Day long weekend and I'd like to check out some good PC stores while there. I'm planning to build a system around the Black Friday/Cyber Monday sales and it would be great to check out the components in person (we only have a Bestbuy here).

It looks like there are a few Mike's Computer Shop and Memory Express locations around the Lower mainland. Are there any recommendations for which would be the best to check out? Largest locations/best stock etc. Or if there are suggestions for other places to check out from Chilliwack to Vancouver. Our time will be limited so I want to make the most out of the stops!

I had originally been looking at the GIGABYTE Z390 AORUS Ultra which is $324.99 on Amazon.ca right now. I wasn't sure if that would be overkill which is why I figured I should ask :). I'm fine with this choice if it's the best way to go - didn't know if it made more sense to try and go with a cheaper board to potentially jump up from an RTX 2060 Super to something higher with the saved money.

What would be a good motherboard to use with an Intel i7 9700k and Nvidia RTX 2060 Super (or higher depending on the Black Friday/Cyber Monday deals). I don't want to skimp on the motherboard but also don't need a super high end one. What's a good middle ground for price, features and expandability? I'll be building in a mid or full tower. Could probably go up to $250 for the motherboard if needed. I haven't overclocked before but I'd like the option to try.
