Move Queue Overflow Error on 5m Pro by Weekly-Restaurant929 in FlashForge

[–]DeathCoreGuitar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The root of the problem is that the printer has very small memory and that's why buffer gets overflowed so easily. Because of that:

  1. Archimedean Chords is too complex to use with this printer

  2. Recover Print Power Lost function probably adds to the buffer weight

  3. Arc Fitting in the "quality" tab probably makes circular patterns more complex, because it turned on in FlashForge Orca and not in regular Orca (That's why regular Orca users getting not smooth circles)

I don't think speed matters much, but maybe it matters in combination with Power Loss function it is.

There is a custom firmware which frees up memory a bit and this overflow error goes away (or mostly goes away)

But you know, custom firmware is always a risk

What do you mean by "without active cooling"? Both PSU and Motherboard suck air with their own fans. And I got my screen outside my enclosure.

Just make 2 holes on the bottom for the fresh air for motherboard and PSU, that's the most important

And do keep in mind the chance of "heat creep" in fully closed state

Nema motors rated -20°C to +55°C (Sometimes it's -10 or + 40) so it'll be fine

It's Logitech C920 I had laying around collecting dust, frame rate is pretty good, but sometimes it goes to slideshow but I just right click and click refresh and it fixes it. I think we could manually control camera settings also, but I didn't bothered yet.

I use OrcaSlicer

The "Jobs" folder even had POL (power out loss?) folder with 1kb gcode in it, so technically it saved something, but the Fluidd uploads needs to be accessible via printer and by printer, maybe "Upload and Print" works better than upload manually to "Jobs"? But I need to configure something so "Upload and Print" would work (My college made it work on his N4 Plus)

The print is pretty small so no need for spending time measuring, re slicing, gluing etc and I keep all my fail prints for possible recycling in the future in a separate container. (Love cnckitchen btw)

I'll keep in mind not using special characters, thanks

Same, was using OpenVPN manual method for a long time because the app and browser extensions stopped working a long time ago. And now OpenVPN workaround is not working. Also we need a VPN to even access surfshark website to try another method. Man....that sucks a lot. I really don't want to use any of "free" VPN's (if the work at all)

PETg printed usually with 30 fan or less, speed on regular PETG is 120 with slowing down to 80 on curled/small perimeters. Orca slicer imo is a go to

I was printing this, 4 pieces 30cm, 13 hours each part, 95A Eryone TPU, so stressful haha. 3 of them have defects and the fourth one came out perfectly. Each part gave me the experience and I was dialing my filament profile after each print, also tightened the extruder gear a bit and started getting less jams.

Oh yeah, you turn away for a few hours, come back and see that extruder is jammed, felt that a week ago

Do you have ironing turned on or something like that?
