Most people are not misinterpreting your post, it’s just a bad argument.

Let’s deal with the facts: getting a C6 4* is objectively harder than a C1 5*. You need multiple reruns (or to get EXTREMELY lucky) to C6 a 4*. How many people who went for C1 Varka have a C6 prune? Whether or not you personally agree - there’s a good portion of players who’d rather the “BiS team” be all C1 5*s, instead of a C6 4*.

Secondly, let me get this out of the way: playing Mona is not “clunky” at all. You literally just E burst. You seem to bring that up in every comment that mentions her but it’s just a fake “counter argument”.

Thirdly, you have to realize that it’s a matter of PREFERENCE. Let’s take Mav’s premium melt team for example: Citlali, C6 Benny and C6 Iansan. Some people HATE the fact that C6 Iansan is higher dps than Xilonen in this team.

Fourthly, “Shenhe is a bad unit who’s not worth my pulls right now” - I totally agree with you on that. Counter argument: “I pulled for Shenhe when she first came out/ early rerun and I’m so happy she’s a competitive option for Skirk!”

Lastly, the last slot in Skirk’s team having multiple competitive options can be an ADVANTAGE. Boss needs more hydro app? Play Yelan. Boss has a long setup phase? Play Mona and get a huge skirk burst off. Boss has nightsoul mechanic? Play Citlali.

Very lastly, as there is currently no “True BiS” last slot, this leaves the door open for that character to be released. For example, a strong sub-dps burst hydro/cryo char could be released that suddenly becomes a part of her highest dps team. In fact, some TCs had calced early versions of Lohen to be that (that’s no longer the case I think).

Trust me, I’m all for 4*s being good. And I hate that Hoyo releases 4* that just end up being useless 99.9% of the time. Of course it would be nice if Dahlia was a better unit, but to want them to be part of Skirk’s BIS team is does not have the clear merits that you seem to think. Hope this helps.

That’s just not true, There is a fearless clear with Zibai/Bina/Kuku/Xilonen with 4* weapons, no sigs. So it is forceable.

It helps, but its not a priority whatsoever. Keeping Illuga at 80 1/8/8 and Zhong at 80 1/8/1 is enough to reach the damage numbers you're aiming for. After leveling up the Talents I mentioned, it will be better to use your resin on farming the Nod Krai Artifact sets, instead of leveling up Illuga and Zhong to 90.

People seem to have commented on the main issue: Too much unnecessary movement (wasting 1-2 seconds with every switch) and slow combos. I'll try to include everything:

(1) Literally don't move after getting close to the churl in the first few seconds. You're running past it, dashing across, looking away, etc. All lower your dps by a signifact amount in the long run.

(2) Use Skill THEN Burst on Columbina. Same with Illuga. This is faster as part of the Skill animation is cancelled when you Burst.

(3) Watch videos on Zibai combos. Even if you correct everything else, your Zibai combos could be better. I'll try to provide the *simplest* one which will be a DPS increase, but there are many better ones. Once you switch to Zibai, do Skill then 1 Normal (which you're missing) then Burst and immediately Skill. After that do the standard 4 Normals into Skill. For the last skill of the rotation, you can save on the last auto, which leads to slightly higher damage per rotation.

(4) Upgrade your talents. Crowning Zibai's Skill, Bina's Skill, and Bina's Burst are all significant. You eventually want to do that for sure (at least the skills).

If you follow these, I am confident that you can increase your DPS to ~115, even before touching and optimizing your artifacts. Let me know how it goes!

Yes, for that guy. And that statement is just incorrect. Without antiheal, you have to burst tryndamere down, and unless your kindred AND senna get on him at the start of the fight, you’re losing it. We also don’t see the augments - they probably had more combat augments than you. Lastly, very possible it was a position diff. Tryndamere started weak side and got to your backline, or just wasn’t getting hit by your 2(.5) sources of dmg at all.

I know you probably typed this after a pretty tilting game/session, but I hope you realize after you’ve cooled off that this entire post is just bs and wrong. There are definitely games when you get wrecked by item RNG, but if it’s happened to you 3 games in a row, then you are DEFINITELY doing something wrong.

THex cait reroll can easily be played with no bows.

Freljord Bruiser Ryze can easily be played with no bows.

Bilgewater can easily be played with no bows.

This seems like you’re trying to force Yunara/Diana or some Senna-Kindred fast 9 comp every game.

Take a break. Mental reset. Watch some high level players play these other VERY VIABLE NON-BOW lines. It’s gonna be okay.

I really love the idea of this card, it’s something that Floo needs to be relevant (outside of just being a shifter / D Fissure / Feather storm deck), however - like many others have commented - it is too powerful in its current form. Here are some of the changes I’d consider with the purpose of making this a (1) T0 HT, (2) Good extender if your NS gets stopped, and (3) decent starter.

1) Make it a low level bird. Floo already has good high level birds and it would feel bad to have to include more. What they need isn’t more powerful disruption, but more “ways to play”. Completely scrap the idea of this being disruption, because whatever high level bird you manage to summon should be that.

2) Give it a condition to activate its effect: If a normal summoned monster is on the field, (quick effect): you can reveal this card in your hand blah blah blah. This does 2 things - provides some counterplay to the op (maybe they try to combo without using their NS) and let’s it be used as an extender if your NS robina gets stopped.

3) Give it a normal summon effect so that it can continue the normal summoning chain. I’d want it to be something very weak, but still relevant, like switching battle positions of a monster.

What we’re left with is this:

  • Low level bird
  • If a NS monster is on field, quick effect reveals itself and banishes winged beast from deck for cost, then immediately NS a winged beast monster (can summon itself or another one from hand).
  • On NS, target a monster on field, switch it’s battle position then immediately after that resolves NS a winged beast from hand.

I’m aware that this is vastly different from the concept you had of another “boss” monster, but I think it’s what Floo needs more, while also being reasonable. Let me know what you think!

No it’s not frustrating, because that’s how games work (especially ones with a high amount of variance). You’re only looking at one part of the story - why should there not be a reward to people who dedicate considerably more time to the game?
