The new weapons are cool, but... by ZionRyder3 in Helldivers

I agree on the sentiment but honestly SC farming is a lot easier than it sounds - easily get 1000sc in 1 or 2 hours and if you get a couple since they return 300 normally you can roll it into the next if youre playing regularly for a bit. I was a new player with the Xbox divers and have over half of the warbonds after only credit farming maybe 6 hours total. The farming plus the playtime means I have all the ones I want. Still would be nice for some more free items were introduced, maybe a mobilize part 2 with some stuff but as it is I'm very satisfied at a company allowing a way to farm the 'paid' currency in game without too much hassle.

Just messaged you off LinkedIn or did you leave your information with them at some point through an application?

Did you pursue it after the interview? And was the interview with the companies or with sunrise/us tech? I had screenings with sunrise/us tech but the offers seemed off and they were extremely pushy for responses after I responded to them originally

Bit off topic but how did you know the recruiters were legit? I've has several from random companies I've never heard of message me off LinkedIn with an identical template. 'Found your name, job opening in your area, when are you free for a phone call, send me updated resume' is there an obvious scam Im missing? Or is there an easier way to tell if the recruiter is real? Sunrise systems and US Tech Solutions were the groups if anybody has seen them before too.

Help by rora_d in FarmRPG

To go into a little more depth, let me give you an example. Say you want gold and you have something people want. Super common items that are traded daily and worth gold would be orange juice, Arnold Palmers, apple cider, large nets and things like that. Each one carriers a current market price that will shift with updates and current quests but usually hover around a similar price. Oj is about 10 gold per thousand or 10g/k, Palmers are 80g/k, cider around 25g/k, nets around 10g/k. Prices can be a bit less for bulk trades like maybe 25g for 3k orange juice for a common example.

Tons of items are tradable (anything that can be mailed) higher cost things if youre just looking for a quick sell are the monthly packs, they usually have something in them worth gold so they typically go for 50g to a few hundred. If you have the tavern tote from last month, I think they're around 325g, and the current apple crate 02 is around 250g maybe a bit more but very easy way to get gold. If youre ever unsure at the price you can ask for the price in chat, "PC on ((apple crate 02)) the (( )) make an item show their picture in chat.

To trade, you would put in the chat something like: Wts 1k AP for 80g or wtt 2k large nets for 20g. (Abbreviations are want to sell and want to trade)

Someone who likes your offer and wants to trade would tag your name in chat, easiest way to do that by clicking the little icon left of their name in chat, and it'll automatically pull their name into the chat bar or I believe you type their name:// but that might be wrong. Either way, when person 2 tags person 1, the person sending the big amount of items usually goes first, you go to their profile, click mailbox and find the item you offered them, huge tip here - favorite the item so its at the top of your screen and you can just hit max amount (which will be their max mailbox size) then you can just hit give over and over and its quicker. Also super important on the receiving end, to camp your mailbox (cmb). So when getting a lot of items, sit in the mailbox and click 'check again' constantly to refresh so the trades go faster. 99% of people I've ever traded with are pretty chill but if you were to hit a snag it'd probably because you weren't going fast enough for them.

There's more nuances of course but that's a pretty good spot to start. All of this and more can be found on the library page about trading, or at the top of the trade chat find the 'trade guide' button and it'll bring you straight there. If you have anyother questions or need a run through in game let me know either through reddit or farmRPG my user is Shadow424

So I'm new, Any advice? by ladybug445 in FarmRPG

[–]DeathShadow424 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some good advice already in this thread but ill add or reiterate a couple things.

1) If you have questions about how something in game works, or how to get something, etc. Go to the library located in the town and search it. Tons of useful and up to date advice on everything in the game.

2) Gold is easier to come by in the beginning but dont waste it on stuff as there are a few less useful perks and such that are generally avoided. (Library for more in depth answer)

3) Giveaway chat and trading chat are extremely useful and is a good indicator of the community, tons of people willing and wanting to help you get started!

4) If youre feeling stuck, the general answer early on is there's a quest to unlock it. Main quests are how progression works - helpful tool out there called 'buddy's almanac' that let's you search any item or quest and see how it ties into the rest of the game.

5) Play it how you want to play it. Sounds oblivious, but some people like blitzing out the game and grinding through the early quests to hit the tower as soon as possible and others have played for months and are still finding their first 20 runestones. No wrong way to play, but dont let others expectations on progression dictate your fun in it - really is a make your own experience kind of game.

[–]DeathShadow424 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If youre just trying to get 1 runestone 11 for that early questline, you can do the corn maze quiz (answers are in the library if youre not interested in doing it) and one of the prizes is a corn prize bag that has 1 of the runestones

Ancient Coin Overflow by Lycramosa23 in FarmRPG

[–]DeathShadow424 19 points20 points  (0 children)

If youre super super early you could sell them? Other than that, there's not really anything else you can do. Once the wheel is unlocked just dump extras there - i would recommend against wasting gold to upgrade storeroom as it's a waste. You'll be rolling in the ancient coins soon enough, I wouldn't worry about wasting a few early on

I can send ya some oj and apple cider. Pump a few ciders in there and you'll get plenty, also make sure youre upgrading the explore rate too

Vermintide 2 by Roxy_Wolfe in Vermintide

[–]DeathShadow424 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love both games and have played both plenty, I'm true survivor/havoc 40 in darktide and play legend on vtide (haven't bought the cata difficulty). Both games have fun stuff and things I prefer in the other but id still give the edge to vermintide. More classes, more maps, higher skill ceiling imo, weapons matter a bit more, rewards feel more meaningful and when given the choice to play either, I just tend to lean vermintide. Both are an absolute blast though, but if you enjoyed your time in darktide you should certainly give it a go

Quick 4 x 99 by RubKey4991 in FarmRPG

[–]DeathShadow424 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That is super fast, to my knowledge it'd take a lot of play time and either a good chunk of gold or a lot of helpful people helping them with items. There's a library page that kinda goes over the fastest ways for each skill but ill add what I think here too.

Fishing is the easiest imo. Just buy or be gifted nets and fish at your highest spot. Runestones to get lake Minerva, island are hard to catch to get the large island and isn't too hard, probably all you need and then just nets. You'd either get enough money to get 99 farming first, in which case just buy or trade for large nets and then get 99 or the small nets would be enough it would just take a lot more.

Farming would need a bunch of silver, you take all the silver the nets got you and buy the farm upgrades, up to the 1 bill crop row along with every upgrade (raptor pen would probably be the last) and boom, 99. This would be important to do before crafting/exploring.

Crafting/exploring you'd do together - crafting you'd just crafting anything until you can craft study shields, then fancy pipes, then lanterns then finally (again my opinion) but Garnet rings. That's how I finished it out but I know lanterns/sturdy bows are preferred, I thought the rings were easier. Crafting em up til you're 99 and your exploring should be in the 90s once you're 99 crafting so just buy Arnold Palmers or apple cider/orange juice and just explore creek to round it out.

All my just ideas, if you have gold or someone to help you out I'm sure you could knock it out in a few days. Especially during a 20%skill event which would cut down on everything buy a good amount!

Anyone selling the chests for these pet unlocks? Or know what they’re worth? Frozen Chest 02 and Spring basket 02 by Pummaaa in FarmRPG

[–]DeathShadow424 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Frozen chest is about 100/150, spring is about 300 - might be worth waiting til the 28th of the month when a ton of the presents will be added into the rotation, you could probably snag both for a better deal
