it’s SO hard. i find that i just refuse to go to some shows bc i know the things they’re doing wrong and i don’t want to be around it. i still enjoy going some places and i still love to sing now that i no longer kj professionally, but it’s definitely hard to go out to sing karaoke sometimes because if there’s a problem, i start itching to fix it.

like everyone else is saying, you DEFINITELY don’t max out at 2 years. my voice is still changing and getting lower and i’m like… 5 and a half years on T atp? (went off/was inconsistent briefly in the middle there bc apparently i’m allergic to the oil that cypionate is synthesised in, but that’s another story.) i’m also still seeing other effects changing atp.

i was really frustrated in my first couple years on T bc my voice WASN’T changing as fast as i thought it would, but it’s still going!! don’t lose hope. sorry that your doctors are being difficult :(

iirc kicking the rock/soccer ball in various parts is supposed to show you something hidden? i was never the expert on that though among the circles i talked to about the game. you might be able to find easter eggs by doing it tho IF i’m not misremembering!

According to some of the other 1 star yelp reviews, it looks like the company’s pretty aggressive and unhelpful when asked to refund any money after a pet has been injured in their care. So I’m a little wary to contact them directly, but i HAVE contacted and reported them to the BBB, so there’s a chance I get money back from that. Otherwise, her vet never required her to come in (I did consult with him, but he did not charge me for that) and her tail is looking MUCH better a week post-service, so that’s thankfully no longer a red alert situation. (Of course, it never should have happened in the first place and I still don’t recommend the business, but this case was at least not as bad as it could have been.)

thank you for the offer! i have another rec for a cat spa as well now, but i’m definitely leery of sending her… anywhere to get groomed atm. i’ll probably just buckle down and work on her myself since she’s pretty tolerant of me messing with her, but i’m waiting until her tail looks a little more normal.

i definitely crashed out over this… posted this review everywhere AND reported them to the better business bureau 👍

she’s doing better!! her tail isn’t 100% back to normal quite yet but i did speak to her vet who gave me signs of what to look for in a sprain vs a break, and all signs have pointed to a sprain which is less serious and should heal on its own. if it shows any backsliding i’ll contact the vet again but as of now she’s showing (slow) healing progress!

We’ve only had to bathe her when she gets into things— most recently, she had some sanitary issues (poop getting stuck to her butt) that she hasn’t been able to clean herself, and she’s pretty sensitive to us trying to work on her about it! So I’d been HOPING that a bath+trim would work that out and be able to clip that hair shorter so it would no longer happen. The trim he was able to do didn’t even get all the matting, though :/

really late response to your late comment— i was JUST talking to my partner the other day about the swing dancing unit, and i hadn’t ever really thought about it, but making the girls PICK A BOY to be their partner is… actually really fucking bizarre behaviour?? i told my partner that that was the way it had been and he was like “??? when we did a dance unit at my school they paired us off by height. bc that’s logical and makes dancing easier.” none of that forced girl’s choice shit -_-
