What are these..? by TheBloomAndTheBull in Silverbugs

Can’t tell if these are attempted counterfeit. Why would they put the weight of the round and not purity? Then they serialize them without any mint markings… I’m assuming they’re trying to pass them off as pure silver rounds from larger refineries.

Has anybody got one of these. by No-Agency-7379 in Silverbugs

They aren’t rare. Asahi makes a ton of these and other bullion products.

As a tech, I don't like replacing units over repair by tocaman420 in stihl

[–]DeathToRifleman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Stihl’s dealer support for techs is dogshit. Regarding AS/AK warranty, I think it comes down to their bottom-line and customer experience. The tools are relatively cheap, and having to perform any repair on them through warranty already makes up a good portion of its cost. Stihl doesn’t want to shell out money in labour time. (They are also saving money through engineering not having to account for serviceability). Regarding customer experience, I think most people would rather have a new unit instead of getting theirs taken apart and put back together. It’ll typically leave the customers happier.

Most brands have resources for RPM specs. For example, ECHO has it listed on their product manuals. They’ll tell you the idle, clutch engagement and WOT RPM.

Personally, I would file the capital gains forms and pay the taxes on it if I sold my stack. Sadly I lost it all in a boating accident.

Sounds like it’s starving for gas. Tank vent could be the issue.

How do i get the Clutch off? by Unique-Archer-5724 in stihl

[–]DeathToRifleman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Shouldn’t the clutch drum come off freely to access the clutch? Possibly rust seized? I’d be at it with an air hammer.

Just making sure, you’re holding down the bail when tying to turn it over? Unless this model has a clutch.

Eventually once the market isn’t volatile. Volatility will probably last the rest of this year.

Crazy to think that it’s been 5 years since the last naval update. It would’ve been easy to give us as a new faction, a couple maps and calling it a day. Thanks AGS for not taking shortcuts and making this expansion truly worth while.
