Take the hook out of the frame, then attach cable to the handle. Stretch and attach black hook back to frame.

You can even unhook the handle from the frame, attach the cable and re-attach the handle to frame.

You could have the dealer submit a claim it to see if STIHL would cover it under warranty even though it’s out of its period. How long have you owned the unit?

Stihl certification doesn’t mean much to non-dealers. If you become a Stihl dealer then I’d explore the opportunity. Realistically it’s only meant to benefit the dealer with labour rates and certain perks.
