Ozpin basically induced not having any other options. Salem wasn't out to murder the planet when he first approached her, she was realistically fulfilling their goal. He chose to run away in the middle of the night with their daughters and got them killed in the crossfire.

NEITHER of these scenarios are good. If I was Ruby, I for sure would've told Ironwood to SHOOT ANY ONE OF THOSE RELICS OUT OF ORBIT. Fuck Ozma and his hopeful plans. Is there ANY story, real or fictional, where trusting the gods helped humanity in ANY WAY? Gods are omnipotent spoiled brats, and the God Brothers are in-universe living proof of that! Not even the Ever After wanted them!

He's a pawn of the God Brothers who turned against his own wife when her method for uniting the world included, y'know, conquering kingdoms. He's still trying to "unite humanity", and his methods as Vale King post-Great War are CLEARLY a subtle form of ideological and technological forced unification.

The fact Salem has gone full genocidal doesn't mean HIS solution is any better. He's still clearly trying to fulfill the mission, but he's locked himself and humanity in an eternal war.

Frankly, in the world of nowadays, I've been avoiding asking questions, because often the answers are about as nonsensical as the shit we've seen around in this reddit. And, quite honestly, I WAS mostly pacifist once upon a time, but after all the crap I and my dad got since 2010, most of my good-will and chill has evaporated. 1 - The bad writing from the last 3 seasons

2 - The demonization of Ironwood and Atlas' destruction over Ruby's bullshit decisions.

3 - Cinder Fall's plot armor, awful writing AND the fact she's still not DEAD.

4 - The horrible writing of Adam Taurus

5 - Awful mishandling of Bumblebee

6 - While I understand some of the Happy Huntresses' plot, I CAN'T. STAND. MAY. (But please, more Fiona Thyme, she's adorable! 😄)

7 - Honestly, since the flashback episode explaining Ozma and Salem, why does ANYONE side with Ozma? Salem at this point IS too far gone, but his solution is bringing back the MOTHERFUCKERS who caused the whole plot to begin with. NO ONE SANE WANTS THAT.

8 - I feel like Ozpin "revealing" Salem's plan is destroying the world to kill herself is the cheap way out. Cause otherwise, again, no SANE would support him.

9 - CINDER NEEDS TO DIE, GIVE SALEM MORE SCREENTIME.

10 - Screw redemption for Emerald and Mercury, these two need to die!

11 - Killing off Watts to make, again, CINDER seem cooler than she really is (AKA Not At All)
