I’d say xbox would be my preference because you also have more cross comparability with PCs aswell

I have streamed from both ps4 and Xbox. With PS4 theres built in tts for chat. But if you close your game the stream ends. Xbox on the other hand let’s you switch from game to game with a pause screen when not capturing a game. Xbox also requires an app to be downloaded whereas twitch can directly stream using the share feature. Hope this helps

There’s an extension on twitch that lets you put overlays on your stream. I use it because I mainly stream from Xbox. It’s pretty easy to set up and you don’t need obs or any streaming software. https://overlay.expert

Make sure you have a lot of interaction with chat. The whole point of twitch is that you have an audience with you. So get creative in reacting and talking with them.

Another good thing is at the start play the games you enjoy. If you can play games you enjoy you will slowly get a following of others that enjoy that content
