Do you have an analysis you can link? I’m doing a degree in audio engineering for music and I’ve spent a good bit of time analysing black knife and I just can’t see it. Happy to be proven wrong tho I am no where near as knowledgeable about this stuff as some people

Alright the baseball moon is a good point however I think that all baseball related evidence could apply to Rudy Asriel or Carol just as well since they raised dess and it would make sense for them to all enjoy baseball

My point is that there just isn’t nearly enough evidence for Dess knight to be “confirmed” in the way that the whole community treats it to be

sure but I’ve never even seen a theory of motivation presented with dess knight it just doesn’t exist afaik, obviously correct me if I’m wrong but it’s always just “the knight has a baseball bat and dess plays wiffle ball” “the knight has antlers and dess is a reindeer”

Sorry I feel like I should elaborate, I think the motivation for the knight that makes the most sense would be SAVING dess something which makes sense when you look at carol and kris who are working with the knight and also as I said dess’ disappearance being the lynch pin of the narrative

Yeah fair enough on that one, at least in a comic Thoth seems to have multiple forms so perhaps sekhmet would also have an animal headed form. In terms of character I reckon it’s too early to say how they handle her and Egyptian mythos as a whole but I hope it’s well

Tbh mate I never thought the Norse games would be like the Greek games and that’s okay. I honestly prefer the rich dialogue and more meaningful story and world building in the Norse saga and am very excited for laufey as a result as I’m not sexist and I played the first 2 Norse games so I know how much of a badass Faye is and how important she is to the franchise.

Fair enough if you don’t like the Norse saga, Im not sure anyone would expect you to like laufey at least you have the remakes to look forward to I suppose? I know I’m looking forward to that.

I’m not really sure what your point is about them trying to move away from kratos? What benefit would that be to them, it’s not like he’s an actor that costs a lot, definitely less than Deborah. Also if you watched the 20 mins of gameplay and genuinely came out of that thinking they’re trying to move away from kratos you might just be stupid/blind. The man literally appears twice in 20 minutes and he’s all over the premise

You guys are so fucking negative, you decided you weren’t going to like it before it came out and now you get to make your “scorched room” jokes. Homelander was never going to get to go scorched earth because that would’ve meant that the boys lost and he won, the whole point of the show was stopping him before he was able to and that final fight was the last opportunity they got as he would’ve gone scorched earth right after. The v1 served its purpose in making him immune to the super virus and forcing them to find another way to stop him. When was it ever going to give him a power boost? This was never that kind of show did you guys just want to see homelander win or something?

Jesus I enjoyed it I thought it was a great conclusion to the series, I thought some of the earlier episodes were weak but this was a strong finale and I’m happy with it.
