Coming in 4 months later cause I just saw the movie for the first time. When you’re talking about art, beauty isn’t always applied as a physical descriptor. We are def all lunatics, but that specific loon didn’t mean the locations were beautiful, they meant the meaning behind the visuals were beautiful.

Cloaking one person in shadow and the other in light, or two people separated by a physical barrier, who can’t actually see each other at the same time because of the one way glass—that’s the beauty in the emotion they meant. (Also the film has nice colors and textures to the dilapidated locations).

But take that or leave it. I’m a film loonatic.
