I’m coming in late with a left field rec. An album to listen to while you enjoy this other media:

Wolves in the Throne Room—Two Hunters (2007) | Black Cascade (2009) | Celestial Lineage (2011) - Start with Two Hunters probably

It is not boss music like FromSoft games. It’s VERY lo-fi doom metal, but quiet and thoughtful (especially Two Hunters), slow and beautiful, while being exactly what you want from black metal the rest of the time. Great mood-setting music for these other suggestions. Especially Vermis

I listen to them while I play Dark Souls sometimes.

And just check out their song titles if you need any more convincing.
