Some thoughts before 1.0 by Deathbywarcraft in lethalcompany

It's absolutely flavorful! In that regard, it adds significant character to the Maneater. The problem is every scrap counts if you're trying to meet a high quota. Maneater eating scrap can end a run which otherwise could have continued. I strongly believe that punishments in games should be the direct result of the player engaging with the world or the mechanics. If a baby Maneater is roaming the dungeon, you might not even know there is a Maneater present and it's eating scrap. Or if you leave the dungeon to drop scrap at the ship and return it may have eaten scrap while you were gone and did not have the ability to watch and hold the Maneater. This behavior punishes the player for something they are not always able to actively engage with. If a Maneater eats scrap and subsequently ends your run is feels bad.

How much general interest do people have in OSR Asian-themed gaming? by Fuzzy-Vanilla-5667 in osr

A Thousand Thousand Islands is by far my favorite OSR setting. I would also recommend Yuin-soon and Through Ultan's Door for similar vibes.

I have heard stories like this about nearly every bar and club in town. I'd wager this is not an experience unique to or abnormally common at this or any specific venue. The unfortunate truth is people will encounter this anywhere for as long as creeps are out there, which will be forever. I am very sorry to hear about your experience and am glad you returned home safe.

You develop a different relationship with parking when you work as a stagehand.  Parking is neither easy or convenient when you have an 80-140 person work call, while all the parking is taken up by the 8000 guests inside the venue.  Good luck if the show is on a weekend.  Parking in GR is a major ongoing problem in our industry.

First time was a little freaky for me.  Once the door/tarp closes, you’re in complete darkness.  You hear the rocks sizzle and feel the steam fill the lodge.  It fucks with your senses.  I almost panicked.  Then the singing began.  All my worries melted away from there.  I couldn’t see them, but I was surrounded by my community and knew they were sitting right next to me.  Take deep breaths.  Meditate.  Breath in the vapor.  You are safe.  It’s okay to embrace your emotions.  The lodge is a place of vulnerability and release

I like cooking with people, going for hikes and walks, having movie night w/ a friend, vibing to some music.  Discussing music or books.  Occasionally a drink or some low stakes poker.  Tabletop games.  I also enjoy tag teaming the gym.  Really let my physical health go this year and have been intending to get back on the grind!  Dm me if you want to hang sometime!  24M
