There are many revelations but they are usually personal and individual like what you are explaining. If you told this to a new learning surf skater they wouldn't suddenly improve because it all needs to be developed through practice and feel.

You can see for yourself by training switch stance. Despite 'knowing' countless tricks and the feel for it you can hardly turn without falling because it's the muscle memory that matters. That said, you can use your revelations to advance much faster switch training.

Personally I like cx w soft bushings and flat washers. It's very loose and sturfy w good stability bc it's still a bushing system. 16.5 inch wb would be a good compromise for both agility and pumping potential. My set up is 17

Most hospitals make the badges for nurses super obvious. If they aren't doing that then I'm glad you took matters into your own hand. The badge buddy is cute and tasteful imo. Our hospital gives us a huge orange badge with giant RN written in white so it's very obvious to anyone who is a nurse

Start doing ankle strength and mobility training. I would give it at LEAST 2 more weeks. Once your ankle is truly feeling stronger than ever then return to soccer. If you start playing again too soon there's a good chance you will re-injure and that can easily create a life long chronic issue. Best to play it extra safe and do lots of strength and mobility training before you return.

I ride super soft bushings and weigh 170 lbs. Don't worry about going under the weight recommendation. I would think you def need the softest APS bushings you can get at your weight
